A floor plan showing the status of all rooms would be helpful to see the progress of the renovations. Very nice!
Yeah it’s very disjointed how their blogs go…..and this was a year ago so nothing has changed. I get frustrated watching it!…looks like having a bite out of each cherry is the most important!
Perhaps they have safety concerns and have chosen not to share the actual floor plan.
Putting the toilet and sink in the closet panels is so creative and makes the room look even more spacious.
Hope you put in a strong ventilation 😏
I would suggest that you have a "weekend away" in each of the guest rooms to experience all the details the guests would experience... Just a thought :)

I think this is the prettiest of the bedrooms for features and detail, so am excited to see how it’s turned out. It’s a shame it had the hall cut into it to access the new wing, but it’s still a beautiful room.
On film, the wallpaper appears so rich and dimensional that it appears flocked. Another wonderful job the two of you have done!

Out of all the Chateau DIY that I watch,I love your beautiful color and designer choices the best.I love more peaceful elegances throughout the dwelling spaces.
You should definitely sleep at least once in each room. It helps refine details of comfort, like bad lighting and other things that might annoy guests but they won't necessarily tell you about.
Can I make a suggestion? Use that long wall in your front hall for a photography exhibit documenting your restoration of the chateau from right to left. Later you may want to turn one downstairs room into large blackboards of photos documenting each room or sets of rooms and a small photographic history of the chateau.

This room is amazing! The hidden toilet is awesome. Congratulations! I have one suggestion to make, the shower curtain would look better if it went all the way to the floor. A tip: put two curtains. One on the outside, pretty, can be even made of fabric, and one on the inside of the tub, plain white polyester. This way, your guests will not ruin your wood floors and the curtain will not stick to the person taking a shower. I saw this in a hotel and it really works.

That was such a great way to hide the potty and sink, but keep the romantic feeling of the bath inside the room, Anna's interiors are amazingly beautiful, they are stylish and the colors always compliment, she manages to make them inviting and cozy without going over the top. I love how Phillip compliments her on how great they look, what a lovely and fun couple.
It would be nice if you added a dimmer to the light in the alcove. Sitting in the roll top bath with candles is so special.
You are the only YT channel where these "sponsor sequences" are bearable. You put a lot of effort into the script, to make it fun to listen to the publicity.

I love how the guest room turned out! Love the minimalist somewhat modern aesthetic you are pulling off. It's absolutely stunning. I’m rewatching after the reveal and have to say I really love this room. Just like with many others, I’d have made some different choices, but it’s your place and your combined taste and work, and the results are beautiful . The wall color is calming and restful for a bedroom, woken up a bit with the gold, and made crisp with the amount of white in the bedding and other places. The light, bare floors lighten the whole, and I think the alcove bath is beautifully done. The whole has a Scandinavian quality that is very welcoming and restful. You should be very pleased with this. Having seen how it started and the work that’s gone into it, you have the best result possible - that it looks like it’s been this way forever.
Yellow is such an amazing colour for indoors. It gives the room such a lovely glow. Wonderful that you had the courage and went for it 😎

I just adore the yellow wall paper. I think it goes very well with the blue on the paneling but at the same time, I feel it’s a pity that there was so very little of it because it is just so beautiful. You are so talented, Anna. I love the postcards too.

It’s really beautiful and the hours you put into those wall papers is incredible. I’m the opposite of you both. I like light colored walls with art and rich colored fabrics to bring everything together. Then to update a room, I just change fabrics and artwork. I take the lazy man’s track for decorating. 😆

I used to watch several of the château blogs but gradually have abandoned all of them apart from yours. You have a good chemistry between yourselves plus some wry humour. As a garden designer I wasn’t too sure about your yew hedging but each to his or her own ideas.incidentally, the latest room renovation looks stunning.

The gold room is beautiful, but I’m worried about leaks from the tub. I suppose it’s a matter of personal preference because open bathrooms aren’t my favorites. A sliding divider, maybe in the same color as the floor, would look amazing and also create some privacy for the bathroom.

As someone who designs holiday properties may I suggest that you spend at least one night in each of your guest rooms as you often find small snags/problems that way. I would suggest a more comfortable a d better looking chair than the modern metal one, possibly covered in the same ticking as the headboard. Your wallpaper is exquisite, and I love the light gold. A few accessories would give a welcoming touch without offending Anna's aesthetics! Congratulations on 100 subs. 😎

I subscribed to your vlog a short time ago, and watch every day, catching up on the past few years. You are both amazing and your shared creative talents make you an exceptional team. I enjoy the fact that you also show us how to DIY your ideas. Your patience and encouragement of the children to try things for themselves under your guidence is terrific, and great preparation for their future. The fourth bedroom is glorious, I love the brightness and colour combination. Anna, your patience and creativety with the wallpaper is well worth it. I think I would have added a little to the cupboard toilet room, because it is so beautiful and the gold tones in there would make a good finishung touch. The sanded floor is a perfect touch.
