This poor woman never had a chance. Her hope of finding her mother alive was nothing but a complete nightmare, one after another. What a tragic end to this story.
True. And Ripley's story is also very tragic, as she wakes up 60 years later (I think), with Amanda already dead.
We all sat looking at the credits going "Wow....." hoping and waiting for a sequel that would never come......
A sequel to alien isolation has been confirmed though; it's in early production.
