It is important to mention that, from the 9 million Boricuas worldwide, 6 million live away from Boriken. That is clearly an aberration! And from the 3 million Boricuas that have refused to abandon our homeland, half of them live in poverty! Why?nPuerto Rico has been a United States (US) colony for the past 125 years. Since there is no US free press, most people are unaware that the US is committing a crime against humanity by refusing to comply with 41 United Nations (UN) resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. This month, the UN will once again hold its annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing, and issue yet another resolution asking for the same thing. The US, instead, encourages Boricuas to engage in confusing and antagonistic plebiscites to supposedly find out what we want. Boricuas already know that we want our sovereignty, so that we could decide for ourselves our own future. All these crimes happen, because the US is not a democracy. 38 million Americans live in poverty today, while 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. The world regards the US as the biggest threat to peace. How could a real democracy be a threat to peace? The US threatens peace and commits crimes because she is a plutocracy!

Something's missing here.... Aren't puerto ricans saying they. Invented hip hop? Seems strange to neglect to mention that when talking about their culture.

There were and still are a lot of Caribbeans in the Bronx so it wouldn't surprise me if some Puerto Ricans were instrumental in early hip hop, but I'm pretty sure the majority of pioneers were African American. Puerto Ricans invented salsa music

They did NOT invent hip hop.. Blacks did.. it started in NEW YORK!
