I like how it’s kinda a perfect combo between the OG and Masques, with a lot of the same skill from the previous forms intact and improved. Bifrons is even better now as new you can put new Astroea into the soul, it gets bound so now persona ride is online next turn guaranteed
The deck's a lot faster than the original and pays off the frequent Almajestar support we've been getting. If it had a continuous ability to treat Astroeas as critical, it'd probably be overkill. Sparda and Bifrons actually could speed up the 5 card condition on your first ride turn, and I think I'll add at least 2 copies of Astroea Masques for extra firepower as well as an alternate option in case of Blangdmire. As for Shojodoji, I think this deck can counter it slightly since Shojodoji returns bind cards to the deck or drop, which Astroea can increase the critical hit ratios via drive checking or recover the bind cards from the drop. So Shojodoji may have some trouble against bind manipulation decks. Overall, Astroea here is greater speed buff to the deck and didn't disappoint like how Baromagnes did. And based on the previews, we're getting another Aurora Battle Princess this set, so a new Seraph and potentially ride line may be inevitable.
First impression: They cooked with this The g1 is really nice especially when paired with the set 5 chimera that restands and gets a crit The g3 is also nice being able to fix hands by setting up the soul and getting a draw. A 18k attacker and a 10k intercepter is a nice addition to the board And the astroea, what can i say? It's really good. Basically the best of both worlds from the two astroeas minus the stacking 5000 power from masques. Honestly you don't even run the old one or arguably the masques anymore (bye bye celesphere). The increase threshold can definitely be annoying but it's manageable and the ride from bind mechanic is really interesting
My favorite thing about this card is that you can still run mask engine, meaning at any point she can give up her good guy character arc and masque up it's hilarious (and a tad sad thematically ngl) but still funny 🤣
It's alright. The restand is still locked to turn 4 for the most part. You can get it turn 3 technically, but it's extremely highrolly and requires you to run Schwart=Sparda in main, which is not a good thing. Being able to treat Astroeas as part of the condition to meet 5 in bind isn't as impactful as people might think, since you still want a majority of those binds to be crits due to the 2 crit chimera requiring 4 crits in bind. The best part of the new form is that you won't have to run the masque engine anymore and that you no longer have to keep G3s in hand during your mulligan solely for P ride, unless you specifically open a 2-card combo of Stella and a card to put Stella in soul.
New vanguard is great, they finally fix by making herself a fake critical so now every drive check is a real treat to opponent. New g3 is great cuz now another g3 that has shield that can intercept like "simp lord". New g1 is great since you will bloated with souls anyway. ALL ARE GREAT. Syn with RRR g1 really well.
Nah, smart players will just run another Astroa to save all crits in deck for drive check. Astroa's defense is already strong, that doggy didn't contribute much. The point is put 3 crits in bind and the rest are Astroas. That way the offensive power is much greater then before.
@@kodokutamashi1569 Not saying you're wrong but if you managed to get free deck space for that. Cuz that's how you supposed to do anyway. Use a copy of herself as a fake crit, saving real crit as much as you can. Still far greater than before a lot.

This Astroea is leagues and miles better than any of her old forms
I honestly thought it'd be a side grade. Glad I was wrong
Because she is the combination of both, obviously she is better.

Bushi gave one of my favorites vanguards a new form🎉

How quickly you guys were?
Astroe ⭐ light 🕯️ shoot 😊😊😊
Hoping other Masques get this same treatment.
Bushiroad: "Raughs in Magnolia Elder reprint!"
Drajewelled desperately needs the combination of Masques version and his regular form. Let's hope Michiru gets that, because g4 is too slow.
Zorga Nadir: naw fam I'm good 😂
Now I'm praying that Magnolia gets a new form, like rn
Bushiroad: "We heard everyone wanted Magnolia Elder reprint!"
@Wslasher Please don't do that to the king, Magnolia and his Vanguard deserves good treatment after what they've gone through >:(
Magnolia Masques just left the chat 😂
@@tripleaces659 ...We don't talk about Magnolia Masque
