    Beautiful/inspiring. Quick question...why not make the planets edible? “Cake pops” or Rice Krispie treats if that’s too heavy?

    This is exactly what I am looking to do for my son's cake. For the balls, are you using fondant or clay? Also, how did you get those colors for the planets? Is it from food coloring or did you have to custom mix them?

    Hello! I have tried painting gold lustre dust on ganache before but the ganache seems to come off on to the paint brush..do you think it's because of the humid weather(I live in Goa, India) the ganache softens?

    This is amazing! I dont like the taste of black buttercream/ganache! WIll definitely try this painting method.. What kind of black paint are you using?

      I have used both Americolour black as well as Edible Art Paints. Edible Art Paints work better because it dries faster.

    Great cake! What did you put on top of the ganache to cover the board?

    Does it stil taste ok? I have found black gel paste to leave a not so nice flavor when using it in ganache before, probably added too much lol

      Yes it tastes fine :) you are painting it over the top not mixing it in so you don’t use much as all :)

    Hi, can I use this painting method on buttercream as well ?

    • @SharonWeeCreations
      @SharonWeeCreations  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes as long as the buttercream is a crusting buttercream or is firm. You can't do this if the buttercream is soft.
