If you miss a checkpoint, the fastest & surest way to get back on track is to use the reset car position feature. The game takes too long, and rewind can glitch, especially when doing custom races.
Exactly the same happened to me last week in the Trial, except it was an AI that made me miss a checkpoint, but also got stuck in that stupid rewind and quit.
@bluefish2303 if rewind works as intended it would be quicker, letting the game put you back can sometimes take upto 20 seconds ... puts you right at the back 😔
@@synyster7785 yeah I take your point, it's game over for the win at that point but it usually gives you a chance to re-overtake the AI if it's early enough in the race. Painful all the same.
How and why did he spawn right in front of you?it would be so nice if they fixed this broken game,never going to happen. I refuse to race with randoms,you always have guys that will do anything just to keep from getting passed, even if it's their own team.
@@TheEvermillion fix the game? No way, focus is mostly on adding recycled cars, make some extra $$$ with carpacks or adding nonsense like hide & seek, at least for the older generation like myself

Don't rewind, just let the game sort the missed checkpoint out. That's what I do 🤷
