Hi Paul The majority of the anglers use 9ft 6in & 10ft rods. In a range of weights from #6 #7 & #8 with #7 being the most common. In terms of leader, tippet length and fly patterns it very much depends on the conditions and time of year. Early season like the video leader strength wants to be nice and strong 8lb Plus with most people opting for lures and fluorocarbon.
