Please share your most and least favorite trend below! I love chatting with you and it's always great to see familiar faces and new ones too! Thank you for being here. Also, feel free to make a video topic request. XOXO
Accident with a box cutter! 😂 Priceless, Maria! I’ve been with you from your very first videos and I just wanna tell you how great you have become as a TH-cam influencer. Polished, confident , witty, and relatable. Just love your videos.
Yours is my favorite Fashion channel, hands down. Agree 1000% with your advising to shop our closets first.....I have just about everything shown in your photos...with the exception of those odd one leg trousers. LOL Don't you just love those runway floor shows...LOL
Another wonderfully informative video, Maria. There are so many trend videos out there and yours just seems so well researched. I love the cutaways from the runway since that’s where I like to take my fashion inspiration from. And your commentary and descriptions for each trend really helps to break it down in an understandable, and applicable way.❤
One thing I have always been curious about. When designers come out with the trends they always seem to have similar trends. Ie pink, asymmetrical etc. do they consult each other? How do they know what another designers are doing?
I saw someone comment that the season “look books” are actually released a year before and lots of designers subscribe to these and take cues from them. Can’t remember who releases the look books though.
@@lisa34478 it does seem like everyone gets the memo that pastel pink (or any other trend) is going to be the it color for spring. I always thought their designs would be top secret until the show. Makes sense.
I have always wondered the same thing! I think there is a lot of spilled secrets in the industry, few innovators and lots of followers. but it's fun to watch! thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Thank you, Maria, Great video, I’m all in for Maximalism 🙌🏻🙌🏻 hang less is more, I say ! 🤣 Also loving the pink and Mocha trend (I actually love styling those colours together) The hybrid pants and skirt is a big NO from me, my husband would have a field day at my expense if I ever tried to pull that look off 🤣 Love seeing your videos pop up, i always get so excited 🤗 xx
Thank you so much Lisa! Glad you enjoyed the video and agree with me on maximalism! I'm so glad you love pink and mocha together too, it's a winning combo! Always so happy to see you! Have a fab weekend! xo
Goid job. O am not sure what kind of Trend I might follow. I wozld like to progress my New buy challenge and create New outfits with my closet. I might invent more outfits with skirt over pants and May be more. It is too early at that time. Anyway well done presentation🎉😊❤.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I hope this video inspired you to play with your clothes and shop your closet to find new interesting ways to wear your clothes. Thank you for watching.
Maria, you do SUCH a great job breaking this all down in a nut shell for us. You do it so classy & eloquently, too!! Very much enjoyable and I know, Hermes did a great job on the runway this season. It captivated me haha 🤤
Hi Daniella, Thank you so much! These take soooo long to make but I enjoy it as it really helps me deep dive into fashion for the new year. I was impressed with Hermes too. Great to see you and thank you for watching.
This is the deepest dive I’ve done so far into Spring 2025. Not sure I like much of it for myself. But I do look forward to seeing more examples of maximalism. Thanks so much, Miss Maria.
It’s very fun to see what’s on the runways even though those pieces are costume-y. I enjoy seeing what the designers are dreaming up. I look forward to you showing us how to incorporate some of the ideas into real life.
I agree! Runway fashion is definitely more costumey but it's fun to see what designers are envisioning! and I'm always excited to bring the fashions to reality on future videos. Thanks so much for watching.
Hello Maria Sunshine! The good news is that I already have several of these looks in my closet (the ones that I like)! One leg pants? That’s a pass for me! But I do love that there are women who can wear something that suits them and their personality. Thank you for your positive attitude and upbeat perspective! Keep up the amazing job! Hugs, Stacy 💛💛💛
Hi Stacy! I'm so glad you have most of these trends already, they are very wearable, for the most part. Always great to see you and thank you for your kind, positive thoughts! xo
Love that warm brown mocha … sheer trend and dresses over pants it’s such a great trend, that really can be worn when it’s not as trendy, and so easy if the dress little too sheer for your liking. Just throw pants underneath and it’s done. Phoebe did this style in Old Celine and that’s the only way I would wear her new asymmetric dresses ❤️
I love how fashion is often inspired by different cultures. I've always admired traditional Indian attire, I see alot of it at Indian weddings I create wedding cakes for and the women (and men) always look incredible. Thank you for watching!
Hi Cheryl, no worries, stick to what you love and makes you feel your best. It's fun to watch these videos but we don't have to be tied to them :) Thank you for sharing
Hot pants have no class, so old school seems to me they would be better with a simple design. Always trying something to make people purchase more and more..
I’m so tired of hearing “Quiet Luxury “. Wealthy women will always be able to pull it off with ease because that’s just who they are. Us normal folks need to stop trying to be something we’re not. It’s a bit sad. I’m glad maximalism is coming back. Let’s wear what WE want to wear. Let’s stop letting designers tell us what to purchase.
Thanks for your comment Mercedes. Trends are fun to follow and see what's out there but yes we should never let it dictate our purchasing decisions. Great to see you.

That means so much to me. I love connecting with you and appreciate you being here for so long. Truly such a joy to have you here! xoxo
I’m all in for Maximalism! I’ve dressed that way since I lived in London back in the 80s! Nothing cooler……..even in my 60’s! ❤️
Love it!!! Yes please, more is more! Thank you and great to see you.

Hi Karen, oh you are the sweetest! Thank you so much, you made my day. I appreciate you a ton!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it and that you feel my videos are helpful. It makes all the work worth it! xo
One thing I have always been curious about. When designers come out with the trends they always seem to have similar trends. Ie pink, asymmetrical etc. do they consult each other? How do they know what another designers are doing?
I watch all the shows and have wondered myself. Even designers seem to be following each others looks. Who’s leading the looks ultimately?
I saw someone comment that the season “look books” are actually released a year before and lots of designers subscribe to these and take cues from them. Can’t remember who releases the look books though.

I think with the “skant”, one should wear one flat shoe with pant leg and a high heel with the skirt side.

Great video Nicole! Like the powder pink, but as you say, it doesn’t really shine when worn with black…
I'm so glad you liked the video! Thank you so much for watching. I love pink with other neutrals like grey and navy.

I love your silver earrings. Lately I’ve been buying silver jewelry, I think it’s a fresh look for spring and summer.
Thank you so much! I usually wear mostly gold but felt like changing it up for today. Thanks so much for watching!

Can I have the link to your Poshmark please. I tried to look for you but was not able to find your closet
oh yes of course: poshmark.com/closet/marianicoletti Thank you for watching. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. xo

Great comment! totally agree. thank you for watching.
In India, we very commonly wear Kurti ( more or less like a dress) over the pant( the last trend in your video reminded me of that only).
I love how fashion is often inspired by different cultures. I've always admired traditional Indian attire, I see alot of it at Indian weddings I create wedding cakes for and the women (and men) always look incredible. Thank you for watching!
❤powder pink definitely but not a fan of mocha
So glad you like powder pink, it would actually look really nice paired with mocha mousse :) Thank you so much for watching.
I Will enjoy some like florals but be cautious with most of these trends

It's great to hear your thoughts. Always good to be mindful about what we're buying. Thanks for watching!
Dress over skirt is from Europe because it’s cold there….
I really love the look when it drapes and flows like ysl did it, like a shirt dress over trousers. Thank you for watching!
