I personally thought the entire bounce package was terrible in jafar. But with Pete coming into the format I may reconsider. This deck needs to be running a lower curve with more one drops like magic broom, and maybe Captain Hook if you run Mr. Smee. Also I highly suggest removing rabbit for 4 copies of let the storm rage on. It’s been a beautiful addition in my build since I only run 8 uninkable cards in my 3 plus week(7 events) undefeated list.
Also removed rabbit and it was the best decision. Queens castle does the job. I dont play robin hood cause its way to slow and i play 3 madam, 3 fox 2 goats. For me thats just enough, 2 is too low, 4 is too many.
i’m thinking goats and castle might help gain that extra bit of lore, maybe the aggro lil maleficient also the card that says if u have jafar draw two cards
Also working on a Jafar list... I would drop the 3 cost Jafar and probably two of the 2 cost Jafar to add 4x Blue fairy, I think it's too good in this deck not to be added. Also dropping 1x Rabbit to max de Jafar cost 4
Set 4 I didn't like fairy and cut her. Maybe could try her again but so many decks are teched for d9ablo and evasives are way more popular that I think she isn't as good
Fairy is extremely good in this deck especially since turn 3 we plan to shift into a floodborn, turn 4 floodborn jafar, turn 5 shift jafar that’s an easy draw 3 and if you are missing combo pieces getting a double blue fairy down gets you so much value as you flood the board.
I feel like having archimedes in this deck doesnt fit. You habe to commit to trying ro shift him when you are already commiting to shift jafar. 1 dro and 2 drop malifecent both questing for two might be bettwr eapecially against aggro. This is steel you have plenty of removals for evasive.
The back up plan is increase your lore then play tons of low cost characters and pressure your opponent to victory. The double wheel combo can be very very good. I’ve destroyed everyone in my area with it many times the only time I’ve lost is once in game 3 against green/steel when they hit the perfect Bucky line going first. The deck also gets much stronger with the new cards from set 5.
@@robertsmith1905 why is double wheel for 14 lore better than 12 lore for single wheel at a higher frequency and tempo. It makes no sense. They kill your Jafar and you are stuck in the water unless you give up a wheel. There’s no backup plan.
@@Legaleagle0200 I never said genie and lamp are bad. If your list has room for uninkable cards they can be good. You can easily design the deck to do both. The lamp is decent but with aggro being so dangerous in set 5 I think the deck needs to be more characters based. I wouldn’t run genie because many of the decks 4 drops are our best jafar shift targets that can be removed easily. One card I’m very iffy on is the new purple chromicon I could see it being good but I think the lamp is better. Overall if you are able to fit the lamp and genie in I’d definitely run 2-4 lamps with 2 copies of genie. Either way the double wheel strategy works very well with these cards.
The only scary tech for this deck is amethyst steel with pete. They can't lock you down the whole game you'd have to have a lot of pieces fitting correctly. That's why you also go aggro.
Been running a list on ink table that include the new Pete nice to use him as protection for your shift targets

I like the pivot plays and they benefit w rabbit. So definitely no Rabbit I can see cutting to Mims way back

any update or changes to this deck after testing? i see folks running blue fairy since u already run a lot of floodborn and it can help with draws

This is what I plan on playing again for set championships.Any thought to playing the 2 drop blue fairy?

Blue fairy won't be on the board very long. By the time you shift your jafars she's probably sniped or crashed into
Looks good
I'll try it in league

He is there like hood to be able to shift t3 so when you shift jafar on 5 you can sing awne twice and get 14 lore
@@TheReal_InkwellGaming I see nice I see the spice
Won my set champs with a similar jafar list. 5 drop maleficent felt way better than some of these includes
Format changes a lot with new set and bucky nerf
How about the 2 drop maleficent the 2 lore quester incase you don't get your jafar. Also the 1 drop 2 quester maleficent
Genie and the lamp is so much more consistent than whole new world into a blind draw for whole new world. There’s no backup plan
I Play blurple jafar as well !!
You have multi questers and other draw cards...definitely don't need awnw to win

This deck is bottom tier with Pete around
Nah that's like saying steel song won't be good. Or any steel deck in general which means any Pete deck
