I am so emotional after this magical evening! Tony Orlando & Dawn was my very first concert at age 11 in 1975 and I can't believe I was able to be there on Friday!!!
Tony Orlando is a beautiful man with a beautiful heart ♥️ I’ve always loved he’s songs and Dawn they were beautiful together I was 10 when I first heard he’s music Knock Three Times and so many other ones bless you Tony and Dawn 🥰♥️♥️♥️♥️
First time I saw Tony Orlando and Dawn they were preforming at Disney Land in Anaheim Ca. I went up to the stage to take a picture, alot of girls were there to. Well it turns out I got there late. Tony had turn around and the girls left. I was standing there all by my self. Tony saw me and jumped down from the stage, took the camera from me and said take a picture. I didn't know what to do I couldn't speak I had froze. I was finally able to take the camera from Tony and take his picture. Wow!!! I will never forget, that was very special to me. Am thinking I was 20, am now 72. Unbelievable Tony made my day.💜💜💜
I REALLY hope they release this whole event on DVD. There was SO much to take in from the moment it began, which is what we'd have hoped for, of course, and as it should be for such an event. I hope he has many happy years ahead after all he has given to the industry (and to the world) so far. I love the way he connects generations, teaches music history, highlights and rewards those who support him on stage and their talents, and on and on. It was a once in a lifetime event to attend. I missed the last few minutes so thank you for sharing this. My only complaint was they had the spotlights over the big screens lit up too brightly so those of us who were far from the stage often could not see what was being shown on the screens.
If anyone is interested, there is a great Tony Orlando interview on the Gilbert Gottfried amazing colossal podcast. He has got some great stories from his history in show biz.
I missed it maybe , why was this his last performance, is he retiring , which he should so he can rest , but he’s not sick is he , I hope not, love his singing !
I read he is starting a new chapter in his life... Bless his beautiful heart. I was lucky to see him in San Diego late 90's....I love his spirit, and he loves his fans!!!
I've reinvented myself many times, and now I want to flex my creative muscles writing.” Orlando said he's working on screenplays and a novel, adding, “I even wrote a Broadway show.” None of the projects has been produced, but that's not necessarily Orlando's main concern ― he says he just wants to be creative.Mar 15, 2024
He gave an interview a while back, it was too taxing, traveling anymore with the band and instruments etc at his age. He also said that he wants to pursue other interests.

The general idea is to give your final performance BEFORE you lose the ability to sing.
It's always sad to see once-great artists go out like this.
God bless Tony Orlando, Telma and Joyce.

How old isTony😊
He will be 80 on April 3rd.
Trump 2024
Never liked him. Much like Mickey Rooney, he though he had to flatter everyone and kiss their butt to be liked. Embarrassing.
