00:00 Introduction 02:04 Game review starts! 19:25 Crazy line 22:47 Brilliant queen sac? Nice win and a fantastic endgame play. The recap was instructive and the editing made it super fun to watch! :)
Back in the '80s, there was a book written by some GM or another called "Winning Lost Positions". Some wag at the club that I played at suggested that a better use of the paper would be a book called "Winning Won Positions". This game was a fantastic example of how a clear advantage can be tricky to convert to the full point. Good effort.
Hi there! I purchased two chessable courses for the nimzo-indian. One is the "Nimzo-Ragozin Lifetime Repetoire" from Silecki, the other is Jon Ludvig Hammer's Nimzo Indian course. There's a lot of courses available on www.chessable.com/ if you're wanting to learn openings in detail. I purchased the move trainer versions without video as they are much more affordable this way, and you get some small video previews anyway.
Nice to see a game and commenter roughly at my level. I found this very instructive. It takes courage to show your mistakes and how you could do better. But I bet making a video like this improves your play. Maybe I should give it a try.
Edit: *Winning* (I definitely didn't say losing earlier) is tough, and have I this funny feeling Hannah will win the next game. I'm positively certain of it.
I used to have a habit of accidentally calling all my opponents ‘he’ by default, which led to some people being upset e.g. if I was playing a WFM and accidentally called her a ‘he’! I now just say ‘they’ when referring my online opponents so I avoid mixing this up, but I didn’t even realise I was doing it here :’). apologies for any confusion!

At 8:56 you mention ‘courses’? Can you elaborate? I’m looking to learn these later positional ideas / tools of the trade.

thanks, but I didn’t lose? 😅
@@hannahsayce1whoops I forgot which color you were at the end, I blame past me for misremembering.😂
I just wondered which is better of these two openings to pair with the Nimzo Indian, The Nimzo Ragozin or The Bogo Indian?
I personally chose the Ragozin to pair with the Nimzo Indian, but both are solid choices :D
HE
Why "they"?
