30 years ago..New York test used a 20 ton old Lorain with a 30 deg old jib. out of level machine and variable throttle...most failed..for 4 years.....I bought same crane and set up my own test..this nccco I passed in 2005 was great..just practice ,practice and relax..you can do it...
Jesus Christ this gives me confidence to run a crane. I work in marine construction and ran a friction crane on a barge that’s sinking with spuds moving 3000 pound anchors across the deck and spools of wire onto our work boat during our graveyard shift and this seems completely doable. Cant wait for my first crane operator course.
@@NoMercy83 better than ever. Thanks for asking. Hope that y’all are doing good and wish you the best in life. I’ve tried calling you a few times but no luck. Good to hear from you
thank you sir...I learned lot..I wanted to be a crane operator in other country, but I have no experience to apply...I'm crane operator here in my country, PHILIPPINES 🤙I hope you'll give me idea..thank you sir and God bless..
Great video I’m going to try to get my certification later this month. For the company I work for ,, do u now a website so I could study for my written test
Thanks for the video man. This is awesome 👌 question how far is the Obstacle course or how far is it setup to the crane..im Is practicing at work right now, I'll be going next week to Oklahoma for a week to get my crane license.. we got it setup at work with crane we have , and its really like 4 feetfrom the side of the crane i think we have real close to the crane what do you think.
@@SnapnCrack thanks man I'm a little nervous i been practicing the practical exam course at work for 2 days it has been really windy so it has been a challenge..i have been operating this crane we use here at work for over 8 months now.
@@SnapnCrack i here you man ..what about the writing exam how did you study for that.. anything you can share with me to help me out i i appreciate it.
@@gunenthusiast9201 For sure man, it’s a lot of information in a short time. If you haven’t already try and get a copy of the book and practice test if you can. Study to pass the test not to know everything cause there’s no way. I know for me repetition is key I just write shit over and over. I took quite a bit of notes and just really tried hard dude and if you do that you’ll be fine. It’s not crazy hard. I’m also kinda new to the industry so I knew/know very little to start
If your talking though the zig zag course. Whatever mins I said is what we had. Should be the same across the broad. Maybe he said 2 mins so you got it in 3 mins. Not sure but we had 3
I go to take mine next week I hope I pass cause this is my ticket to success and early retirement.Between the oil field and chemical plant construction it’s a lot of good money out there and their are looking for certified operators I’m considered bless cause I have the money to actually pay for this expensive certification

You had me at "balls in the barrels".
If you knock over one of the barrels but everything else was perfect, will you still pass?

You guys are training in Kansas? I tried to find a place to get certified here and I couldn’t…??
Check with crane sales and service in kck. They should be able to point you in the correct direction.
I want to prove your ability to drive a mobile crane
Good video man.
Hello! my name is KANTE BRAHIMA from Côte d'ivoire . I would like to get a training with you! thanks a lot.
Easy task to me bc i own 25ton crane to work all kind of construction site.
Hi Sir I have applied for Canada, I am from Pakistan on the mobile crane operator job in the Red Sale program and live in Kuwait.
Three minutes there in three minutes back? When I did mine on the Powell finger I only had two minutes total.

A bit harder on a fixed cab, wish me luck fellas 🙏🏼.
Good luck.. you got IT.!!!!
Does the lattice crane use 60' of boom also
Not sure about the lattice boom crane height
I am carin oprtr
How many point deduction for going over 3 mins and 30 sec on the barrel ball course?
It's different in some places but I heard 1 point every 5 to 10 seconds.
Once you get the pattern time is not of essence it’ll just happen naturally
this shit is so easy. I never understood how operators with years of experience can't pass it when they renew.
Yes barrel to barrel is the hardest course 🤦🏼♂️
But I am certified 🤙🏽

Does anyone know how quickly we can get employment after obtaining the Crane 🏗 Liscence?
