People are completely misunderstanding her "generic" comment...
Ri is not saying Katy Perry,Gaga or Ke$ha are generic - she's in fact really good friends with Katy Perry obviously from the rest of the video.
She's saying she is happy with the songs on 'Loud' because the SONGS are not generic, and couldn't be sung by Katy, Ke$ha or Gaga, because the songs are tailored to her voice, genre and image etc.
People are way too quick jumping to conclusions about her comments - that's not what she meant.
Yeah, and that’s definitely true, she started to get more involved since Rated R into what sons she wanted in the records. She may not write songs by herself and she know what’s inside her head and what she wants to portrait in her records.

She was calling her new songs specific. I agree that her new song is generic but you are incorrect to think she was calling those other girls generic.
@viki409 As she explained in many other interviews she used to tone her accent down alot because she was tired or answearing the questions more than once, she said she got sick of that and now talks with her normal accent.
