Exmoor Deer watching from hide at sunset - Aug (2)

The most enjoyable wildlife encounters are nearly always those when the animals come to you, unaware you are watching them. Clips in the video were all taken while sitting still in a wet hideout among dense reeds close to a stream - hence the incessant gurgling of the water. Having sat still for close to three hours, I was rewarded by far more deer coming close and walking past me within 100m and less than I had ever expected.
