Compute Cloud@Customer is fully managed, rack-scale infrastructure that enables OCI services to be consumed on-premises. It lets organizations run applications, middleware, and multi-tier workloads with cloud automation and economics. Compute Cloud@Customer helps simplify development and provides the same management experience across cloud and on-premises deployments. It also helps customers addresses data residency and latency requirements in a simple subscription-based model, and delivers core infrastructure (compute, storage and networking) in a rack-scale on-prem that is connected with OCI. Compute Cloud@Customer enables infrastructure to be directly connected to Exadata Cloud@Customer via dedicated network for low latency between application and database tier. It also runs services that are identical to those on OCI, simplifying development and management across environments, which improves customer infrastructure and operator efficiency by making it easier and less expensive to manage infrastructure on-premises and in cloud.
