The Quantico HiCap has grown to be one of our most popular models, especially for concealed carry! It is based on the 2011 design, but not all 2011 style pistols are the same so we put this assortment of holster options together to show you what works specifically with this pistol.

Funny intro. Have a hard chrome hi cap on order and a blue one that may get hard chromed. I have (had) 2 holsters. I edc my hi cap with 508t and x300ub in a saya 2.0 for a staccato xc. Lots of extra unnecessary slide clearance. A tier one holster for a 1911 works and fits great because their holster body stops before the wide body part of the grip.
Thanks for all the info guys! I’ve been using a 1911 holster with Surefire X300-B made by Kaos Concealment. Fits my Quantico Hi-Cap like a glove.

I presume the extra length of the light accommodates the added barrel length of the Quantico? The C2 is under 4 inches and LAS offers a holster for the XC and the P which would be closer to the 5” barre length.
The Tenicor CERTUM3 works well for IWB, get the snap loops, take one loop off, and the pistol will rotate a little when you sit (like a Rosen ARG), it is stable otherwise. You can get some cant too, which a lot of makers won't do because of the RDS. Appendix carry is SMH. RDR makes a great holster and a great mod on the Safariland (who needs to get with the program since 1911 Hi-Caps in 5" are very popular right now.)
Absolutely Loved the intro! Big fan of the Malus Sol. I have been using that for my 1911/2011s and tupperware who shall not be named. I have the LAS for my non-railed Gov guns (when I want to train those. But I never carry non-railed w/light gun these days.
@Nick, (or anyone else with the Blackhawk 2011 Holster) 10-8 Performance makes a great adapter from Blackhawk over to the QLS Mount. Its aluminum and quite solid, I highly recommend it.
Solid reccomendation! I just bought it.... as my janky drill job failed me last weekend and my gun went flying holster and all... luckily it was an airsoft gun (jusrt started doing sairsoft with my kid and got guns to match my EDC gear). Gracias

Hilarious intro! Thanks for the info. I actually just dropped my 1911 Safariland holster off at RDRGear shop (I’m local here in SLC) to get some customization done. Are a lot of the holsters in this vid cross compatible with the single stack Quantico?
Not really.... if the light is the retention point the gun will "hold" but the hic cap holster flare at the opening to accomodate the widebody so there will be extra jiggle.... the trigger guard is further forward on hicaps also so it wont always be compatible wihtout a light

Both of you carry Quantico HiCap Appendix. How many pairs of Suspenders do you need to keep your pants up?
This is more of a light holster add space. The point in buying a 2011 with old school looks is to carry it old school. Like...do I need a leather holster with or without a 1911 rail?
Our gun has a light rail. If you have a light rail, it makes sense to have a light. Lights are an advantage to a carry gun in every way. Are they absolutely necessary? Probably not. But they are undoubtedly a good advantage if you have the rail. We covered leather and holsters without the light on it. We also say this isn't a complete list.
Be nice to find something simple like a GALCO leather holster not all this big stuff your showing, keep it simple
Holding black holsters in front of a black shirt with a fixed camera and no closeups is kinda useless. Just sayin'.
