I’m a rampart main and I can 100% agree this is accurate. Wattson,Gibby are defensive while rampart and caustic are offensive-defensive or deoffensive legends (for short🙃)

I played Rampart in couple of matches and I'm soo bad with her. Whenever I throw covers, and put Sheila down, enemies start spamming arc stars towards me. But, I'm slowly improving myself with Rampart. I'm a Bloodhound Main, but I'm learning Rampart.

Main problem with her ultimate is that the waving your aim around strategy "the Rampart wiggle" isn't viable on console because our sensitivity is capped at what we have set it at. Even on max you just cannot go as fast as on pc...
This. I've kind of done it a few times on console but I chalk that up more to the enemies bad aim. One thing I've found us that having at least a little elevation helps. Also just looking straight up is good while reloading it
Thanks for the tips! I started running Rampart and found you when I was trying to learn how to play her. You've helped make me a Rampart main now! I'd love to see her get two buffs: Sheila getting a little work so she's more useful, esp in the end game, and the amped cover damage buff being stackable(though I could understand limiting it to 2 barriers, maybe 3). I'd love to see if making that 20% damage boost stackable and buffing Sheila a little bit would be enough to get more Rampart mains without breaking her. Extending her passive to all weapons would also be welcome. I'd run Rampart with R-99 every single time!
My favorite thing about the gaming merchant is that he’s humble, not blaming the fact that he lost the Match on ping, players using aim bot, stream sniping, FPS drops or anything of the matter.He takes the fault upon himself and realizes that it was his lack of skill that lost the match and accepts the blame, not like top level streamers who blame stream snipers or aim not for their losses.
Rampart is a frustrating legend. For starters, shes not a defensive legend. Shes a weapon specialist. Her passive should be fast reloads and extended mags for everything from everything to smgs to shotguns. Her tactical should be built in less than 2 seconds. If you think it's crazy, it's not. Look at the stories from the Outlands for Rampart. That cover comes up in less than a second. Sheila's in a good place, she doesn't need buffs or nerfs. All these changes would make her an offensive legend, not a defensive one. I'm not trying to hate on Rampart, but her abilities need to be tinkered with in order for her to feel right.
I started playing with my friend because simply he wanted to play with someone, and at the beginning I used lifeline to help him. I liked the game but I wasn't that good. Then I saw rampant in action and I chose to unlock this legend and for me apex changed a lot. I started having fun and play almost every single day

I came back to apex after a couple months rampart was weird at first but when I started to play more aggressive I got my highest kill game she became my new main
I have been a Watson Main Since she was released. But now I’ve been flip-flopping between rampart and Watson. I feel like a good rampart can really boost your team to get more kills
I main Wattson and Rampart now too, I'm almost at 700 kills with her. A nice buff would be reduce the time to set up her walls, maybe reduce the wind up time and muzzle flash on Sheila too
Yeah mostly her turret maybe to have a faster spin up time? It takes like 5 seconds to place it then start shooting and maybe it could be 3 seconds/3.5 or something. 2 second would be 2 op
All the clips from 0:00 to 3:35 describe my rampart gameplay, and i usually go for the golden devo in kings canyon, i only do the "kinda campy strat" when im toooo low on health or if we're at top 5

i feel like rampart is hyperaggressive in a similar way that Crypto is hyperaggressive. The player's tactics and decision making greatly affect the value u get from these legends (Rampart's walls & Crypto's EMP) but you are still limited in that your raw mechanics (aim and movement/strafing) has to be so on point that you aren't afforded the luxuries of a wraith / rev / path

An I agree there should be more ramparts shes the best to me offensively an defensively. What should happen is that if the wall is "destroyed" I think at least the bottom half should stay.
