the metal rod track inside the machine at 1:28:40 , i feel like this could possibly downgrade a ball from pearl to A if it chips it slightly while coming out at an angle some come out pretty fast, id wrap it in eletrical tape a few times maybe.. We had an issue with one of our washers similar but far worse case. Cool video

You know I love the splatters! But I've actually just switched to the Z-Star divide (yellow/white). If it's a cloudy day, I revert to Q-Star tour divide (red/yellow). Just easier to see! Love to see the Top Flites staying strong 🤣 They're the pain for the gain! Great vid as always mate 👌

my finds of the week were a purple top flite and a cool light blue crystal nitro that has “glycerin” written on the side lol. that noodle ice is awesome looking and that toad was a cool dude

My local course has been closed since the start of the year. I spent every weekend until April pulling balls out of the obvious areas. I’m pushing 5,000 so far. Most will go back to the local First Tee facilities, but I’ve kept a tote of interesting balls and have flipped some of the premium brands\models to save folks a few $$ and to offset my search and cleaning time. I also see it as a small ecological clean-up effort.

Do you think it would help if you soaked the balls in a solution before putting through the machine? I use a bucket and a brush on the end of a drill to “power clean” my finds. It seems to work better if I have the balls in soapy water for about 30 mins before I use the brush. I’ve also been loving for a machine haha Keep up the great work!!
@@KrazyDzat15 Oh absolutely, as long as you don't soak them for more than a couple hours you won't compromise the slightly scuffed ones. Looking forward to testing out some new cleaning methods with this bad boy though! 💪

Hey awesome! The brands don't matter so much as you get premium and cheap balls across the board from every manufacturer. Since most courses use the balls as driving range balls, I give them driving range quality balls. If they are looking to resell them in their pro-shop, then they want premium urethane balls.
The chrome soft x triple track you found at the beginning is a special performance option that they did a while ago it has a diamond between the chrome and soft
Do you know prices for found gold balls on land in the forest?? I've been cleaning a bunch, any ideas for me besides separation of brands.... like pricing wise, premium - regular and the "shag balls" damage/ scratched enamel?? I'd appreciate it
@@nycashone Yep, I use my experience in the golf industry to accurately grade the balls myself. Then you can start to look at make/model to determine a price. To get an idea, just check out eBay and other used ball sites to see what each model and condition are selling for per dozen!

@@badbilly429 If I wanted them as clean as possible, id agree with you. But given how fast water permeates the covers of lightly scuffed balls, I wouldn't soak them longer than an hour or two. Granted a small % of this batch came from a river anyway so the scuffed ones are already compromised 😆

When i was just a little guy, we grew up 2 houses down from a golf course. Highlight of growing up was looking for golf balls with my brother and dad......except the night my dad stirred up a hornet nest and we had to run.
Oh ya, I mentioned that in previous videos, you never know where you might run into bees! They make their hives anywhere, luckily I haven't bumped into any yet 👀
@@SteveInUpperMI There's footage of this in a previous ball hunting video, I had him leaned up against the front of the cart at an angle, like how you would brace a chair under a doorknob to stop it from opening, then drove the cart forward bending its neck 😂 still works like a treat once I got the tube unbent. By the jaws on it, I figured it was the igotchya you used a few weeks ago so had already looked into them. I have a really old 18' I think that's built pretty strong but it's the dual orange head that has to be fully extended or the head will spin...I work at a casino that has a championship golf course that I'm able to uv search every night on break so just looking for options.
