The introduction of this song at Trilogy LV was such a surprise, and to see Emma in the crowd when Nick put Brave Soul out at the end of an absolutely incredible show in that stadium, and then to SEE Emma in the crowd reacting to the surprise of the introduction of this masterpiece was an absolute "life experience". I had zero connection to this story...until Nick put it out there. It was a moving experience that I can only say I am "Thankful" every time I hear this song for being gifted with it. Thank You Emma, Thank You Nick.
There's SO many elements in the production of this song that makes it so amazing those really unique snares the way those vocal chops are moving around in the background that signature ILLENIUM riser before the drop and then that half time with that amazing lead coming in while those vocal chops are just bouncing around underneath everything. ILLENIUM really nailed that recipe of taking something extremely emotional and bringing it to this euphoric end representing pain and growth and healing in all of his songs
