Metal Detecting Around an Abandoned Early 1800's Home!

- Join my wife Persis and I on a series of metal detecting adventures as we hunt all sorts of locations. We both use a Minelab Equinox 800 to find old relics, coins and jewelry.
Today we are out detecting around an old abandoned home and what used to be a shingle shack back in the early 1800's. Like most old homes from the time, it is surrounded by fields used for livestock and maybe growing various vegetables. Some nice relics, a few coins, and an old silver relic come out of the ground.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks a bunch Annabelle! 🙋♀️🙋
The cleat like thing is from a tri-pod leg.
Although I couldn’t find any old pics to verify it, I believe you are correct. It could be the foot off an old surveyor’s tripod.
Thank you!
That's the best suggestion I've heard, thank you Steve! You too Bass Man! 🙋♀️🙋
