We have some weird sayings in Denmark. Like if you do a 180 it's called a Kovending; which litterally means "A cow's turn" Or when you run amok or flip out it's called "Gå agurk" which means "Go cucumber" A Dane can swallow a camel, standing with the beard in the mailbox all the while it's blowing half a pelican. Which basically is gibberish. But to a Dane it is coming to terms with something (often bad) you have done, admitting it, all the while the wind outside is very strong. I am not suprised that Victoria, who speaks Danish, doesn't know some of the Danish sayings, because you have to have lived in Denmark pretty much all your life to understand them.
Aw, I like all the groupmembers and wish them the best, they are so humble and sweet all of them ❤️❤️ They are worth all the success they can get and its great to see an Italian band getting success abroad, its not that usual. 👏👏
This is fun as a Norwegian bc i understand written danish i just haven’t heard some of the expressions. Like i knew morfar means grandpa but i haven’t heard the expression although i find it amazingky accurate for my morfar. We also use the last two expressions in Norwegian btw
I love Beggin' by Måneskin.🙂 About half a year ago, when I had my first performance on my drums class recital. Here we go again. Going to be honest, I’m a bit nervous on stage, but super excited. Here’s a drum cover of this classic song that was originally a hit for the Four Seasons back in 1960’s and has been turned into a rock phenomenon. I had fun playing it on drums, and I hope you’ll enjoy listening to it! th-cam.com/video/kaW5g-SbgjY/w-d-xo.html

"Morfar" is grandpa in Swedish as well. Not only does it mean grandpa but instead of only using the word grandpa for both of your parents fathers, we use "morfar" only as your mothers father and "farfar" is for your fathers father. I guess it is the same in Danish. Just a random fact for everyone haha. We also have the same saying as bite in the sour apple.
Hi, I'm Italian and no, I can't think of any word that sounds similar in my language but with a different meaning. I think he was just afraid of pronouncing it wrong and sounding dumb.
