I remember a time when 'Partying was fun and even though our parents who insisted that secular music was leading our generation to hell, we could encourage them to listen the lyrics and see why the song maybe raising our conscious awareness..When I challenged my children about why they would like an artist and his music, (RAP) they were (are) aware that allowing mess to enter your brain as a form of entertainment was not acceptable to me..... I play all versions of this song.
Have you listen to down The Byrds version of it, However I was blown away when I heard Marvin gayes version of where are we going, And like you I listen to it over and over in or again........ And my ax myself where are we going
Marvin were the best and was truly bless. We all young and old loved him and still do even though he not down here with us. Praise god. Amen.
