If S-E gives War of the Lions (with the option to get Cloud as well), Advance, and A2 an HD compilation with a physical release, it could pave the way for new entries.
Princess Peach Showtime is so good! I'm at the end, or "post game" if you wanna call it that. I'm at the part where you need to beat all the floor bosses again but with 3 specific requirements for each. This part of the game is really hard, some of the requirements I'm having difficulty getting.

I guess only male characters are allowed to come in all shapes and sizes and age categories. How dare devs depict something other than female characters who look like heavily photoshopped porn stars.
FF tactics needs a remake for graphics octopath style, new effects, sound remaster, that stuff could sell tons of copies for them, thats what the fanbase want. Valkyrie elysium was a crime! They murdered the franchise identity
I feel like everyone at SquareEnix except the Final Fantasy team actually GETS what their fans want... I don't buy Japanese games to have the Western style, I LOVE Japanese games BECAUSE THEY ARE JAPANESE AND DIFFERENT!!! I really wish they would celebrate what made Final Fantasy what it was in a similar fashion. Also I hope its the Yoshi P who revived FF14 and NOT FF16 Yoshi P who buried Final Fantasy for me... His work on 14 is amazing so to see 16 was a huge disappointment for me. I would be WAY more excited if Yasumi Matsuno was leading FF Tactics 2.
I'm not a fan of how people throw a "J" in front of RPG as if it matters or means anything. Is the game good or not? Most of the games I spend a lot of time playing are developed in Japan because they're great games not because I actually care where the game was developed.
the Japanese Developers have steped up their game in the development of JRPGs. both Western and jrpg take influence from one each other, and we get great rpgs out of it
Yeah I agree a $450-500 Switch 2 is just right, needs an OLED screen and to outperform the steam deck and we're good. Shouldn't be too hard. Of course it's Nintendo so it's literally a dice roll, no logic to that company outside of 'squeeze em dry'.
450-500 would be really close to home console like PS5 though, and with how Nintendo like to undercut their opponent I think Switch 2 is most likely going to be cheaper than current gen. Maybe the same price as the Xbox Series S at 300-350. OLED will likely come out later when they get the Switch 2 out for cheaper and can still make decent profit with a screen upgrade.
There's no logic because you don't do the logic part. "Squeeze them dry" is also ironic coming from a community that lost it when Nintendo didn't sell them a Pro.
Loved Trials of Mana and can’t wait for Visions. I really liked the characters in Trials. However, its only flaw to me was it had few difficulty options, so I hope Visions offers more of a challenge.
I loved Mystic Quest (Final Fantasy Adventure) on Gameboy, it was my first game after playing Zelda on NES. Both got me into gaming and I can’t wait for Visions.
FFT was great back in the day, but at this point I think Triangle Strategy has left it in the dust. I'd be more excited for Team Asano's next tactics game, whether or not it's FF.
I dont want a remastered fft. I just want a proper sequel. I mean, there could have been fft 15 now for crying out loud. Thats how good that game was. But they don't want to. Ridiculous company.
My only worry with Visions of Mana is that they will do to the female lead character, or whatever they will do with her go the same way as the first game...
I just got into the series a few years back with the Trials of Mana reboot, which i loved enough to plat. Definitely looking forward to this next entry.
I appreciate you trying to be diplomatic, but we both know that the Mana director isn't talking about "The CoD crowd" when he talks about the Western audience.
My favorite Gameboy Advance game was Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced so I'm always up for new Tactics games
