This has been in my mind for the longest time, jackson is the most underrated great dancer ever in the history of kpop, on dance community he one of the most respected dancer similar to the likes of taeyang and taemin. but in kpop community? Not so much.. from the moment he debuted i knew he was the main dancer, im a dancer myself, so when i see his level of skill immediately i knew that hes the one and i was correct, its been like that since he debuts in his official profile and right after Hit the Stage it got changed, i was weirded out like why was he changed, they can be main dancers alongside each other, but then i remembered he keeps pushing yugyeom to perform and be in a center, so i realized its partly his decision, and now he NEVER takes a break, when others rest he does his solo activities in china and us, his performance as soloist is outstanding, him participating in hot blood dance crew is astonishing, him with the kinjaz in one of his song "titanic" was on another level, if you dont know kinjaz, a lot of people think theyre one of the best dance crew but theyre SOO much more than that, they have the BIGGEST influence in kpop choreographies, their members (keone madrid, lyle beniga, bam martin,vinh nguyen mike song, anthony lee etc.) have choreographed for exo, bts, ikon, taeyang, winner and much more, and yet jackson can keep up with kinjaz and that explains a lot, if he became main dancer of got7 it would be too much, he already never takes a break, so if he does become one he needs to go all out as a dancer in got7 as well and i dont want that, hes a human being that needs rest as well, i just wish ahgase stops sleeping on his dancing skill.
R A M You're obviously a big JS fan, but you lost any objectivity here. He is a good dancer but absolutely not at the same level as Yugyeom, Jinyoung. He's athletic with a good sense of rythm, but lacks grace and width in his movements. Especially in this choreo, were the superiority of Jinyoung is so obvious, one must be blind or very biased to not acknowledge it. And Jinyoung is not even my bias.
@@FGESLAIN nope i approve/agree with RA, i think she/he have a great objective point here, he really is underrated and he is easily the same level as yugyeom let alone jinyoung, i think your knowledge about jackson and dance is the one that needs work, you should check out his solo concerts and its dance breaks or journey rehearsal team wang because he goes all out there, he's crazy and deserved more recognition, him in titanic was so great as well and he can keep up with professionals. also i can confirm that he was the main dancer, even at "A" era since i knew got7 on that era. Plenty of time got7 performance has him on dance break as well in the past, hes definitely one of the dance king

Jackson is very athletic but his dance style is much better suited for very fast and hard hitting dances like Hard Carry for example, when it comes to these types of dances, fluidity and grace is key and in that aspect he absolutely cannot beat Yugyeom and Jinyoung.
Francis You got exactly what I meant. He fits perfectly the type of dance he does in his solo career or for high intensity GOT7 songs. But Jinyoung and Yugyeom are totally versatile and acing all genres. Plus the fact that the quality of a dancer is sometimes in subtle little moves, not always in the impressive athletic moves.
