Angry Birds Reloaded: Three Stars on Pie Hard 2 Levels

- 3 Stars without using bonus items* on the Pie Hard 2 levels from the December 1, 22' update on Angry Birds Reloaded for Apple Arcade.
* Bonus items were used on level 18. In a recent update the 3 star score was lowered to 95k, so it can be done without bonus items now.

In the most recent update the three star score was lowered dramatically to 95,000, so now it can be three stars without using powers ups.
Thanks for these videos - I’ve been going nuts trying level 18 hundreds of times. Without power ups, best I can do is a 1 star. Levels 18, 28, and 30 (took me hundreds of tries on all three and I still haven’t 3-starred 18) remind me of the very first Seasons Christmas set of levels, there was one that you had to land every. single. shot perfectly for a 3 star. I’ve three-starred every level of every angry birds, and levels 18, 28 and 30 of pie hard 2 are the absolute hardest ones. I don’t know what Rovio was thinking with the 3 star score thresholds, but they set these three WAY too high.
It was possible in the original because of the ice physics, just use a power up. It’s literally impossible.
I’m the guy that refrains from using them too
Also is the eagle feather possible on every level cuz one level in party crashes is seemingly impossible

holy shit thank you so much, my family has been stuck on 30 for so long and this has been the only solution i can find
how many attempts did it take per level, would you say?
Some levels were really simple and only a single attempt. Level 30 was the most difficult (I never figured out level 18 without a bonus). The attempts on 30 was probably in the 100s. One trick is find a reference point to consistently get the first shot in the same place. I aligned the helper guide to the first bump of the cloud while zoomed out as far as it could go. From there it's timing with the bomb explosion and honestly a bit of luck that things tumble down and break apart. I don't know how many times I fell 1-2k short. Good luck!
OK 18 has been driving me crazy! I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't get 3 stars! I keep thinking there is a glitch and the sled is supposed to slide down or something but won't! I was also struggling with 30 so thanks a ton!
right?? the sled is postured like it’s supposed to slide down and deposit the TNT at the bottom of the slope but it just won’t move
It looks like the sled is tethered to the “tree”. Several times I have successfully severed the tether without igniting the TNT. It really seems like at that point the sled should slide down the hill … but it just won’t! 😡
There was ice physics in seasons they forgot to add them back
@@CoolCat67.4 - Yeah … I noticed that Rovio took the easy way out on this: Following the latest update, rather than changing the physics the scores required for 2 and 3 stars for level 18 were simply lowered. It’s relatively easy to get 3 stars on this level now. No power-ups are needed.
I noticed on level 2 you changed the last two blue birds for red. That is the only way to get 3 stars. HOW do you change what kind of birds they are. You could see you’re trying the first time and then redoing the level with the red ones and getting three stars.

Level 18 seems to be buggy indeed. I've reached 103469 at the maximum after hundreds of tries (and same, I don't want to use subterfuges to reach the three stars)
Do you think an update could fix this bug?
HELP!!!! I’m *TOTALLY STUCK* on Level 18 … and I refuse to go further until I 3 Star it. AND I DON’T WANT TO USE POWER-UPS!!!!! Anybody got any ideas?? (I was really hoping this video would provide some answers!)
Without that sled sliding down, I haven't been able to even come close to getting 3 stars without using power ups. Even methods I've found that have cleared it with two birds or have destroyed a good portion of the level, I still come up far short. I'll continue to work on it.. but even times I've thought I might have found something and have a glimmer of hope, when very successful it just barely get two stars (and that alone took hundreds of tries). Best of luck getting it!
Yeah I’m pretty sure, after playing it hundreds of times, this is the only level in any of the angry birds games where the 3-star (or even, realistically, a 2-star) score is unattainable without powerups. Best I can do without is in the mid-90k range, which is well short even of a 2-star. I don’t know if they didn’t give enough birds for this level or they set the 2 and 3-Star minimum scores too high, but I’m confident in saying it can’t be done without powerups.
Ok guys, thanks! I’m going to give up and use the power-ups! I betcha’ it’s a bug and that darn sled with the TNT is supposed to slide down the hill once the tether to the tree is severed. I’ve managed to sever the tether without exploding the TNT on many occasions, but the sled still stays stationary. If the sled is supposed to stay stationary, then why does it need a tether in the first place??
Good point - it *is* odd that it has TNT and doesn’t go anywhere. Next time they update the game I’m going to revisit this level for sure…
