I prefer the stock from Tesla other than that the eagle one because it does not look appropriate to me but it looks good but I prefer the stocks
Same, the brake lights mix the turn signal indicators in it and with how it's all clumped together, it might be difficult to see the turn signals. I also definitely prefer the current Model Y tail lights (not the Model 3 tail light BS; smfh they just won't use the Model Y tail light configuration on Model 3)
I would love to see you install the self presenting door handles, the lite up handles and the slow close doors. I have seen all of these installs online, but I don’t remember if they are all Hansshow.

15:40 I was never a fan of the tiny brake lights, when you consider foggy conditions. These are a big improvement.
Those are only on Model 3 as of last year in the summer. Model Y taillights are very much like the imperial Model S. The brake light is on the outer edge main light on the outside of the trunk and is significantly more bold. That strip where the brake light used to be is only for the turn signal and is amber. It's pathetic that they still aren't using it on Model 3.

Yeah, true. First bit of trim being removed -- I'd have broken it for sure. :-(
BEWARE. There are two different aftermarket tail light sets going around now.. The tail lights were made for the European/Asian market.
The reason why the turn signals are coming on with the brakes is because North American models share( wire 3) brake and turn signal. (Wire 4) is just brakes. Though the stock N.A. light fixtures are not pinned for this, but the wire harness still sends(wire 4 signal). Europe models use just (wire3) for signals and ( wire4) for brakes, their light fixtures support this and would work no problem with these lights.... What you can do, and what I did. Is cut wire 3 on both light harnesses before the light fixtures and run your own wires spliced into your side repeater signals. I know its a pain but it will work. I promise you.
Harness:Wire1- ground, wire2- tail lights, wire3 -turn signal&brake , empty pin, wire4-brake
You will however have to add a hyper flash resistor to wire3 and frame ground, otherwise the car will think there is a problem and hyper flash.
Newer ModelYs with O.E.M. Amber turn signals share tail light/ turn signal so im not 100% on those but...older Ys and 3s are explained above. I had wrote this on another thread for a model 3

Will they produce ones for the Model S? The refreshed Model S still has the plain old headlights & taillights, so this would be a worthy upgrade for those looking update the look.

Wait!! $729 before taxes & shipping fees!?... I'm sorry this company just lost my respect & support.
I see the reverse combines with rear fog light that you don't have in the US, and braking causes the indicator to go as well, maybe not ideal. I have these in the UK and the reverse and fog signals are swapped, but I can sort that with a reversal of the signals and some soldering, the problem is the reverse is only on the right and rear fog is only on the left and I need them both on each side. I'm trying to get a solution from Hannshow but not got much support yet to fix it. They are very cool once they sort the harness issue!
Can you do a "moisture inside the lights test". We are all aware that the OEM taillight are notorious for collecting moisture even the new 2021 models suffer from this. Love to see you fabricate this test.
Are the ambers coming on with the brake lights? That would be my only gripe.
The Amber turn signals do cone on with the brake lights. I don’t like that either.
It's weird because they don't come on with the brake pedal in the Tes+ video on their website, so I'm wondering if it's a difference in 3-pin to 4-pin or something.

Just ordered mine on black friday and got around to installing them today, and mine dont have that 3/4 pin dongle.. they have a 4 pin only, molded in like the factory headlights. it actually looks a little more polished than the dongles shown here

Thanks for the video, the high prices doesn’t justify the purchase, These people have been Taxing Tesla owners for a while now and like their other products who knows how long these will work. I can see if you got into a wreck, maybe at that point I can see someone upgrading but I’m happy with the OEM lights for now.

I think stock looks better. This looks like a busy and pointless Audi light show… I prefer simplicity.
Btw those taillights are old, those are only found on Model 3s. The current Model Y taillights are way better than the Model 3 ones and this. This one you won't be able to tell someone's about to turn if it's super bright outside. It's so clumped together it's nothing but confusion. Also the fact that the brake light is the turn signal plus the rest of the inside part of the taillight.

If the amber signals are coming on with the brake lights, no thanks. The biggest gripe with my standard Model 3 tail lights are the lame red turn signals. I'd want something like this if it got me an amber signal. But, I'm guessing that's why there are 3 and 4-pin connectors, and my car probably only has the 3..

These are a little too busy for me. I’d like to swap the new Model Y taillights, with amber turn indicators and bigger brake lights, onto my 2018 Model 3. Anyone know if that’s possible? Would the wiring harness and programming be compatible?

Personally, not fussed about the wake up animation but very keen on the animated turn signal because the stock turn signal is so small.
The other Tesla model 3 mod taillights, look like fish bones, have passed ECE certificate. You may take a look.

Hi awesome video, is there a way to replace reverse light bulbs with more powerful LED bulbs? I see that the reverse light bulbs in MYLR 22 are dim as compared to my other cars. Any suggestions? Thanks

Not a fan of exterior lighting that look obviously aftermarket. It would be nice if a company would offer an original-looking lamp that added the startup and turn signal animation.

Tried on the 2022 tesla model y and the driver side doesnt work when parking lights is on. Not sure what could be wrong with the pin setup.

That's a lot of work just to have dark taillights. It looks better though!
Does this make a big difference when backing up? My stock lights are horrendous when backing up. It is way too dark and I have to keep hitting the brakes for extra light.

Nice video, but you don’t need to remove about 90% of the stuff you did. Way too much stuff to put back on and risk damaging it.

Cute, but it's made for Euro spec cars, and isn't legal on US cars. In the US, the light that comes on when you press on the brake MUST be red. Maybe Hansshow's OEM will come out with a new version that's legal for the US market. You could hack some pieces together to make it legal in the USA (using a 2->3 tow converter), but shouldn't the product be shipped ready for the market?
Not to mention that website linked is full of lies. Tesla hasn't had Halogen bulbs in a long time... yet they claim the Model 3 and Model Y taillights are completely halogen!
The install is a bit harder than what he’s showing. The wire through the grommet is not easy.
The turn light looks red, not amber, if so, not legal i Norway.
These lights of course are Chinese imports resold at a higher price. Why purchase for over $700 when you can get the exact thing for $445.00 which include shipping on Ali Express? It's where the U.S. company bought them from in the first place... I bet the shipping takes 3 weeks... This is dropshipped stuff.
I got the "fish bone" ones for 330$ on Ebay. But yes Aliexpress is the way to go directly to the manufacturer before things hit eBay and Amazon...basically getting dropped shipped and repacked from Aliexpress
