On this edition of “Inside the HEAT- P.J. Tucker” we sit-down with the newest addition to the Miami HEAT team. P.J. takes us on the journey through his life that includes growing up and learning the game of basketball in North Carolina. P.J. took his game to the next level attending the University of Texas and after 3 seasons he told us how he was ready for the NBA. But we learn how his path was different than most after one season in the NBA when he headed overseas. P.J’s decision paid off as he played for 7 different teams in 5 seasons and won 2 championships and was named Finals MVP twice. All this set up his return to the NBA as we learn about his time with the Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, and Milwaukee Bucks. As a 2021 NBA champion, P.J. brings a ton of experience to this HEAT team and does all the little things to impact winning. He is made for HEAT culture and it shows. He's on a mission to KO the Bucks enroute to the finals. Has a "chip on his shoulder" for Bucks not resigning him. PJ brings a dimension of physicality that the Heat were missing last year.
