The Dreaming City itself is in a Loop, Reverting back in forth overtime, From The time the Curse doesn’t appear at first and then the Curse Itself.

I've played through every expansion in Destiny 1/2, and this was still IMO the peak of the franchise. The atmosphere of this expansion has never been beaten. What a great time.

God, the taken king was by far the best dlc and the most improving dlc in the destiny universe.

I mean there's the raid the 3 strikes, the 400 light level, A story that doesn't take an entire fucking week to play through on all characters. Tons of new really good legendary gear, GJALLARHORN, THORN, OUTBREAK PRIME, THE KOVSTOV, TRESPASSER, NEMESIS STAR, ORNAMENTS, SUPEREMACY(which no one likes), BATTLE AXE, YOUNG WOLVES HOWL, IRON TEMPLE, SIVA, A really fun and cinematic story. Tons of stuff really.

Man when i first saw the court of oryx i was in awe events that could be triggered by us was an amazing thought and it turned out great but the rewards didn't make you feel like you achived anything.
This is perhaps the single greatest and most significant piece of dlc ever. It turned a failing game around single handedly. It drew on old lore but made a tone of new lore as well and I was made with more passion then the current destiny has in all its dlc’s. What the hell happened to the team that made THIS destiny?

NinjaPups I gotta admit I'm disappointed by the solar hammer for titans. It's just a puny little hammer. The super itself will probably be fantastic but I was (along with hundreds of others I'm sure) expecting the hammer to be more like a two-handed war-hammer. Not a blacksmith hammer.

Once upon a time there was little Titan that got this game in September of 2014 at launch week but neither had money to buy dlcs 1 and 2 nor had friends to do any activities with but this blue berry saw this and understood Destiny will have something for him to do and he got friends to play with and did everything and became a legend.

@@simplyprime117 There are multiple grimoirs that mention him and a location that is directly related to him on the moon; the Shrine of Oryx. And by setup, I'm referring to how well executed his arrival was in comparison to our past experience with other major antagonists. More so I was impressed with how they connected his arrival to a past dlc that was sort of brushed under the rug in terms of content but ended up building towards one of the most impactful expansions in Destiny's timeline as a franchise. If you've played from vanilla campaign up to Taken King, you cant deny how smoothly it all falls into place and serves to expand the universe of Destiny. Oryx's impact on the universe is still a major part of Destiny after 7 years, so its a bit hard to see his introduction as not being in the plan from the beginning.
Savathun is much better. She was set up throughout the entirety of D2 from the start, Warmind, Forsaken, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light seasons. She tricked everyone and changed the universe. The Taken would be here with or without Oryx but hive guardians were only possible because of Savathun
WoW gets a lot of attention for being what it is. Destiny is like a FPS WoW. Can't Destiny be accepted for being an MMO on a console? Is it just so wrong to expand on a genre that people already seem to love? WoW gets enough expansions that cost money and raise the level cap often enough, & people love it. Look at Destiny's hate for doing the same thing.
Destiny shouldn't be hated so much for bringing a new type of MMO.
Destiny is nothing like WoW. It wouldn't even be fair to WoW to say destiny has half as much to do. Destiny isn't ground breaking, its Defiance with a bigger budget, or Firefall the pc team based fps. I do think the price for the expansion is justified, $40 for all this isn't much. People will pay $70 for CoD recycled warfare but let Bungie attempt to add quality content and they're out for your money.

The reason people hate is because Destiny doesn't give as much content as you would expect, I enjoy the game, but it kind of feels disappointing when you don't get what you paid for
The dlcs arent really much and are coming pretty fast and not including much content, its basically a small weapon and armor pack you have to earn and 1 fun activity for 40 bucks, destiny didnt even include a real endgame in this last dlc, just an annoying arena with shitty rewards
