Never seen a Charisma like this....she needs nothing but herself, her beauty and her voice. Artists today need a whole 'pantomime' going on about them in order to get attemtion and even then their charisma is nothing compared to Tina's. I guess she was born with it. And I'm 22.

As much as I love Al Green's version, she somehow squeezes emotions out that I didn't realize could be attached to this song. Her version can bring tears to my eyes. I like to have Al's version playing when I'm cleaning the house haha

It takes a lot of guts for any person to take on Al Green's "Lets Stay Together". I'm not going as far as to say she 1 upped him.... but damn... it's close! LOVE YOU TINA! She's the most versatile female singer I've ever seen... Blues, Soul, Pop, Rock, you name it.......she did it.

In terms of what "mitchdep" responded this was the song to get people truly back listening to her in terms of radio and having a song to release. I always think about the time tina left ike to the time she made a come bk (1984)just imagine all the more music that could have been recorded had she had had record deal

(I got an A- btw) lol. After 14 years of marriage, I still question if you took me as I am, then why? I thought life was through the good or bad, happy or sad? Why?
