Hey Phil how are you? that's awesome to hear! This video is a bit different to what we usually post so we are stoked to hear that it's helped you in some way👌🏼 thanks so much for the comment and support. It means a lot to us. Enjoy your new X1 , ours has changed our lives for the better. If you have any questions let us know
Hi Guys. Just got my Patriot X1 and using your vid for some tips on setting up. I know this was done a couple of years ago but one thing I am struggling to find is a mesh ground sheet that is light and easy to pack like yours. All of the ones that I have seen have ribbing around the edge and eyelets and are quite stiff and cumbersome. If you get the chance could you let me know where you got yours from. Love following you guys and great to see you back and enjoying life to the max. Cheers
Hey guys, GREAT video! Learned a few things from you and am going to check out that canvas bag over the spare tire. Also, the way your trailer is set up to connect to your rig. Last November I went exploring in the mountains of Kentucky and several times I got into a deep V gorge where my spare hit the box of the man cave. I believe the length of the arm on the trailer is too short. Yours seams longer. Thanks again, and looks forward to your content on IG & TH-cam. 🤙
Thanks for the realistic run-down. We picked up our new X1 in March. Took it out for a three day shake down and then Covid shut everything down. Planning to get out in the next couple of weeks to start using again. Cheers Lee
Thanks for the great instructional video Mitch and Amz. I picked a few tricks and tips that will be timesavers and make life with our X1 that bit easier
Hey Steve. How are you guys ? how have the travels been in the Patriot? Glad you liked the video and learnt some tips from watching it. It's a little bit different to our usual content but trying to mix it up a little👌🏼
@@TheMadRig Hey guys, we were in Mexico and the USA touring round in a jeep early in the year when the lockdown hit so we haven't been able to take the X1 out of the back yard yet! We were planning to do an extended trip around Oz and would have been halfway up the west coast by now, but we have put it off for 12 months and will see what happens
@@stevenorris-smith4552 spewing..sorry to hear your trip was cancelled too. We were in the same boat. Would have been over in WA right now, but ah well. It is what it is. Hopefully you guys get to enjoy your X1 sometime soon!
Good video guys I'm a wagon owner too and I was about to start installing draws, water tank, 12v gear and a fridge then realised it'll be super heavy and I'll lose my boot space. It's a daily driver and weekend warrior with the long trips every so often Was thinking of getting an x1n and still keeping it simple with a swag but do you think a patriot camper is over kill for someone like me who wants to keep their 4wd light and is mostly a solo camper? I like the idea of leaving the camper fully packed and just buying food and you're ready to go camping on a Friday arvo after work
Thanks for the video guys..learnt a lot..im a new second hand x1 owner like yours..what do the black straps either side of apex do?..also when I put mine up there was a belly in the fly, as in it sags down on tent canvas..it looks like yours does the same..is this normal?..i thought I mustn't have set mine up properly but maybe that's just how it is.. Cheers
Awesome vid guys thanks. I Picked up a few little tricks for the pack up on my X1 too. Would be good to see a race with you guys V Justin and Sarah for sure. Keep up the wicked content on here and Insta. Yeeeeeeewwwwww
Thanks heaps for the comment👌🏼 we love the feedback. Glad you were able to learn a few tricks from us... that was our main reason for filming this video. Hahaha 😏😉 yeah we might have to make that happen
Excellent video guys, helping me sort out my decision making. Thanks for making it!!!
Great video! I am a new X1 owner in the USA, your video help answer some of my setup concerns. Love watching y’all’s passion for life!

Hey Phillip, where are you located? We’re in Florida but go north as often as possible. Planning a cross country trip to North Cali in the summer.

Thank you for the real time video. Really appreciate it.

the X1-H has a hard top on it. hope that helps
Good bit of gear
Customer video much better than adv

For a $80000 bit of gear, it looks like a real hassle to set up 🤷♂️
