After reading the BL novel that Wu Bi “borrowed” from the teacher, who confiscated it, Duo Duo was looking at them with something different in her eyes as if she was actually placing them in the novel, the one that was playing out as they were playing around with her there. She was even scratching her head and kept on looking at them in a comfortable position. And Wu Bi confesses what he’s feelings to her, she is his confidant, so I believe the kid is putting two and two together, which is why she wanted them to dance at her school event and I guess it’s not only to show to everyone how handsome her brothers are. She wants everyone to ship them. She should meet the novel’s owner, she can show to Duo Duo all the photos she has been taking of those two at school 🤭

This edit captures how they are both bonding because of Duo Duo as well and it’s so special because the three come from single-parent families and if you watch the intro, its focus is the three of them together.
Also, both Wu Bi and Su Yu are connected because of a song “Goodbye Lonely Heart” that is a connection between their moms as well. The sculpture that Wu Bi’s mom made for Su Yu is not the only thing connecting them and I feel bad that Su Yu chose not to tell Wu Bi about it as I believe Wu Bi would feel hurt, since her mom had a purpose with it and Su Yu is taking it away from it. Wu Bi even confessed he likes it so much because it was his mom’s last work and that even now he can still feel his mom’s warmth ☹️
The fact that Su Yu and Duo Duo were tired of eating noodles when it means so much to Wu and at the end, Wu Bi made something else for them and spent more time in the kitchen because he was making hand-rolled noodles for his mom and he went to her grave and placed on it the bowl he made for her, one she can’t eat and it pains him so much, because he used to eat the ones she prepared for him when he was having his birthdays.
I simply love how the series has two portrayals, two perspectives of losing a parent at a young age. Su Yu dealing with losing his mom, but she is alive, whereas Wu Bi is still going through the pain of losing the most important person in his live and he can’t go to her like Su Yu can go to his mom and maybe that will be the catalysis for Su Yu to give an opportunity to his mom, as he has said Wu Bi influenced him, Wu Bi is still having a big impact on him. And you can see that once both Su Yu and Duo Duo understood where Wu Bi was coming from they were hurting as well but form a distance as they were giving him his moment with his mom.
The competitions and how Wu Bi was all Su Yu could see, he was even his camera focus, he was endeared while thinking the boy was being silly. Su Yu’s eyes were glowing as his heart was filled with so much joy and he was proud of Wu Bi, who was also there for Su Yu, even staying by his side as both ran to the finish line, Wu Bi holding Su Yu, preventing any fall and embracing him, both hearts beating so fast, in unison, their heavy breathing tingling their skin, the people there just faded away, it was the two of them holding each other, the only thing they were feeling was the beating of their hearts 🥺
To be fair Wu Bi already hates Su Yu's mom adding another variable to that could either fix or break the strained non existent relationship they currently have so I think Su Yu did okay as the mom should be the one to open up about her relations with Wu Bi's Mom

Really good drama. Even besides the chemistry between Su Yu and Wu Bi, I love how they show that money isn't everything. Wu Bi chose to go live with Su Yu in a much less posh place than he's used to because the warmth, love and sense of belonging with the family was more important to him than the luxury that money can buy. They are happy as a family even if they don't have much ❤
