That GTS/ GTS-R sound from Gran Turismo 1 tho🔥 So much time spent as a kid playing with it just to hear it at change gears at wide open throttle. It’s what started my love for the Viper. Thanks for the memories.
I have all the old ones on PS1 and I went back to show my girlfriend because she played the original test drive and we were laughing at how bad those car models were 😂😂😂
The best thing about it is that it's basically the same engine sound from GT2, but it's been elevated with new sounds joining it such as the transmission whine.
I have played near all of this, and helped back in the 00s with the sim racing game GTR by simbin about the texture of Imola track, i was obviously in love with Viper from GT and Scudrace, using the Viper in GTR was really hard and loved how was the feel, fantastic time with the first online racing with real Fia GT driver practicing in the italian lobby, oh after all this i arranged to buy my own Viper GTS 😅
The Dodge (Chrysler) Viper GTS-R was one of our favourite GT cars (GT1 in 1996 (vehicle's debut) then 2005-2007, GT2 in 1997-1998, and FIA GT (GTS in ACO class regulation rules) in 1999-2004 ) who always dominate in endurance racing circuits like Daytona (2000 by #91 Team Oreca), Spa (2001 & 2002 by #7 & #1 Larbre Competition), & Nurburgring (1999, 2001 & 2002 by Zakspeed). Has a class wins at Le Mans (1998-2000 by Team Oreca), Sebring (2000), & Road Atlanta (1999). Also has ALMS, International & National GT championships class team champions like 1997-1998 FIA GT Championship GT2 class (by Team Oreca who also won in 1999 in sole GT class), 2 team titles of American Le Mans Series GTS class (1999 & 2000 by #91 Team Oreca also), 2001-2002 FIA GT class (by Larbre Competition), 1998 British GT Championship GT2 class also (by Oftedahl Motorsport), & 2000-2001 & 2003-2005 FFSA GT Championship (2000-2001 by DDO, 2003 by Larbre Competition, & 2004-2005 by VBM). Chrysler Viper GTS-R which has the most successful GT cars who dominate GT endurance racing championships (also has team & class champions) for every 2-3 years championships which is also being rivaled with Corvette C5-R, Lister Storm, Saleen S7-R, Ferrari 550-GTS Maranello, and Maserati MC12. With the Team Oreca was the most successful team with their Chrysler Vipers in championships & endurance races (which has too many class wins for every endurance & championship races they've entered for GT (GTS) victory).
I'm glad she will return in Project Motor Racing. Hopefully the Game isn't broken at release. I've only seen a Viper and a Lister Storm as WIP pics. Nothing else
Looking at the Forza Motorsport version of the Viper GTS-R, can you imagine that... thing in the newest Forza Motorsport, model flaws, and all? It makes the Gran Turismo 5 and 6 models look good, and it's a standard car in both GT games!
I really enjoyed World Driver Championship. I have recreated a lot of the liveries from that game in GT7, including the Viper GTS-R known as the Venom in the game. if you search WDC or WorldDriver in the GT7 Styles showcase they will show up.
In games, this is a fkng dream car.. in real life, it's a nightmare even worst than The Muthafucka Marea Turbo, because Fiat's car at least is pretty well fabricated right out of the dealership
2:20 it's amazing that test drive 5 could predict how SRT Viper will look like in the future lmao

I love the hilariously deformed car models in those Test Drive games xD Almost as if the modellers were under the influence when they made them.
I have all the old ones on PS1 and I went back to show my girlfriend because she played the original test drive and we were laughing at how bad those car models were 😂😂😂
This car in Gran Turismo 3 has the most iconic engine sound in racing games. This car has a very distinct sound in that game.
The best thing about it is that it's basically the same engine sound from GT2, but it's been elevated with new sounds joining it such as the transmission whine.
We went from a decent Snek model in Scud Race to Beetlegeuse saying "NICE FUCKIN' MODEL" on the next clip.

Started to know This GTS-R since Scud Race in the shopping mall (arcade section).
My personal favorite livery is 1999 Team Oreca. Because its color combination is just... amazing to watch.
Mine is the 2004-2007 (i think) from Zakspeed for VLN and 24h Nürburgring. Made the Viper become my Favourite Car

Dodge viper gts-r from scud race (super gt in us) is epic and nostalgic 🙌
I notice that Viper Racing for the PC is missing from this list.
There's no GTS-R in that game, just the GTS.
Big fan of viper gtsr

12:25 perhaps the only V8 powered Viper in existence
Well, one of them. I reckon multiple people have done V8 engine swaps on different Vipers at this point.

I've attempted to arrange scanning of multiple GTS-Rs with iRacing and they said the licensing fees are enough to dissuade them from pursuing.
That version of the Le Mans circuit for the Le Mans game.. lol
I see nothing wrong with that. Atleast not in the Clip
I never noticed Forza 2 actually had the V8 sounds for the Zakspeed Viper
Honestly, I didn't either until now. It's a nice touch for FM2 to do that.
Rynogt4 favourite car of all time

You missed the STP Taisan Viper GT in Gran Turismo 2
@@migzfuentes I was only doing 2 variations per game.
