Reminds me of a pitch and bat game where you don't see where the ball goes after hitting it into a hole. I can't seem to find a shot that has a wow factor like DeadPool or the new Bond. Everything but the layout is really cool on this. Incorporating the apron into the game is a great idea!
If code is great, this could be Spooky's best pin yet. If the next game is as good and has more toys/mechs, I might give my money to Spooky for the 1st time (Instead of Stern/JJP). Congrats! You guys are improving with each release!

Does anyone else think this is more of a standard layout playfield but just in a wide body cabinet? The plastic lights to the right of the shooter lane seem cool (bravery meter? Characters collected?) but are taking up space where the ball could've traveled if the main PF was extended more horizontally, no?

I think one thing Spooky seems to forget about is visible ball travel. Its a small thing, but its super important for game feel. With most new games, you get to watch the ball travel through interesting shots on the playfield and then through cool ramps and wireforms. Its fun and super satisfying. Spooky games dont have that. So much is either hidden away under another playfield or plastic, or created in the most simplistic way possible (ie straight wireforms that run the span of the game). Its a real detriment to the machines imho.

The game's main playfield design looks similar to Alice Cooper's Nightmare Castle. -Was this designed by Charlie Emery?- (Edit: Nevermind, I found out that it was designed by Corwin "Bug" Emery and "Spooky Luke".)
Nor did they show monitor once when playing. I think code is very very very early and they don’t want to show it off yet. This was just to give us a few minutes so we could see kinetics and flow of this design
Original show assets. Sounds and clips are approved and are in game but are nit approved for "marketing". Major license holders handle these things separately.
Until we are approved to go forward with an actual stream from the license holder, we are unable to share those assets. We are hiding nothing and showing everything that we currently are able to!!
Halloween CE was absolutely Stunning to look at in my Collection, but after 2-weeks it had to go!!! It was the absolute worst pinball machine I have ever played!!! I learned a valuable lesson. You can’t go on just looks . It’s like dating a supermodel that sucks in bed!!! The only games worth owning from Spooky are Scott Denisi games!! Rick and Morty and TNA!!!!
Its only me or it looks booooooring, in the first 2 minutes we already seen all the possible shots, center ramp, 2 side horseshoes, ball locks and miniplayfield.... too empty.

The layout reminds me a bit of No Fear....a machine that I'm not really a fan of. The game looks beautiful but the gameplay and shots just scream booooring! I don't have any faith in Spooky's ability to produce a quality pinball machine. I almost wish Stern had this license. No original character voices is the final nail in the coffin for this pinball machine. Perhaps they should rename it Scooby DoA because it's already yesterday's news when it comes to pinball.

you're right, spooky tends to hide the ball in weird places and directions. It's not even like their games are bad, they just aren't clear.

There are 7 drop targets, but one is more of a ball saver than a target to shoot for.

Most games have 7 to 9 shots... It's very easy to show off every shot in 2 minutes...
