Congratulations on a great 2023! Impressive as always, especially your production facilities. Can't wait to see the future Croton-on-Hudson (NY) Fire Dept "Marine 12" 31ft fireboat that Life Proof Boats is building for us starting in 2024. Keep up the great work.
@@mmingle57 More than half of the $600k of the boat's cost is from State Grant money. Our new boat actually cost less than the most recent fire engine we bought and replaces a 24ft fiberglass hulled fire boat that we used for over 30 years. We expect this new one to last at least as long with proper maintenance. Our department covers our side of one the widest portions of the Hudson River, Haverstraw Bay. There's no Coast Guard patrols for the Hudson River, so it's all done by local fire departments and county police agencies. We not only cover our first due area, but also go mutual aid across the river, down to Tarrytown and up to West Point. Our department is 100% volunteer, with 10sq miles of territory and 10,000 residents. We run ~450 calls per year (EMS is a separate agency). Of those calls, more than 30 are usually water rescue related. Our annual operating budget is only $750k total to cover 3 firehouses, 13 fire apparatus, SUVs and boats, plus equipping & training over 100 members. That's also in a NYC suburb with some of the highest cost of living in the US. We take good care of the tax payers hard earned money. One of our firehouses was originally built as a school in the 1880s. Our retired apparatus have been so well cared for that many of them end up as museum pieces after 25+ years of hard, daily use.
Thanks for the update, I am very interested in the 35 full cabin and I will be in touch. Apparently the Christmas Grinch has been shadowing you guys .😮
Thank you guys. Great looking boats. Referred to your line by Grand w/ Wooldridge boats. Lifeproof is needed for the rocky shores of Minnesota's rivers and 10,000 lakes. For a day on the lake fishing with buddies or a weekend on the river with family. Standup head/shower, kitchenette, and sleeping for 4-6
Small World, I work for AIM Supply (Marine Supply’s) and lived in Bradenton (Manatee County) Dallas Currently. Great video and sure looks like you are a great builder. Thanks for the video.
LOL...looks like Micah wasn't to happy with that truck driving by during their shoot. When is the next time you will be in Florida? Hopefully I'll be able to get out to see you guys. I have a few ideas. Tip...add a calendar to your website showing places/date that you will be attending. I looked and did not see one.
Generator options? I need one for a 33 full cabin. I’m in the Caribbean and I need to cool the boat down. Also do you offer a bigger AC unit? The boat is quite hot.
Why doesn’t Safe Boat make the military stuff and Life Proof stick to the retail adventure market? I’m still pretty confused between the two companies and how the platforms, build quality, strength etc differ. Is the tech the same, how much of the builds are similar? How is it that Safe Boat lost out on this Coast Guard contract, when this is what they do, they are supposed to be the specialists and the investor of the tech… it’s just confusing.
Isn’t that amazing WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH TAXPAYERS MONEY??? How about lowering your Egos and design an affordable unit for the United States Citizen huh?? That’s probably not in your business model is it? Do something Right for humanity for a change instead of Constantly Raping the TAXPAYER??? Man there been a whole lot of Selfishness and Greed since 2019 huh? Yeh we won’t talk about that at all!!! Do SOME Right Things for humanity for a change? Pretty Soon you and everyone else are going to be Running out of THE MONEY TREE!!
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.

Awesome
What’s not to like about Lifeproof Boats? 😊
Are Life Proof Boats self-righting? Or could they be configured that way if a client wanted?
From another video, it was said to be customizable
I would love to see more tours of the professional law enforcement boats if that is possible.
These boats make me wanna pack up an come take a weld test.

What I'd like to see.
I've found no videos offshore.
Wanting to see how your boat handles rough water one would see offshore fishing.
love these boats, swiss army knifes on the water.
You have something that might be customized for a couple who are going to retire soon and looking to circumnavigation
