My county only has one tax deed auction per year in September. I called today and they said they have tons of properties that did not sell at auction this year.
However, they do not do over the counter tax deed sales. They said i have to wait until next September at their next auction.
Is this common? Or does the lady i spoke with on the phone not know what she's talking about?

Each county gets to choose. They can hold them until the next year's auction or they can put them up for sale OTC.
is tax sale list the same as tax delinquent list???
So far when I get the lists, they’re land parcel numbers rather than addresses. I’ve been using a site to provide more data (including the address )but it often provides just a street name with no house number… how do you combat this

Most likely it's land in an undeveloped area hence there are no addresses.
Do you have to evict the residents off the property or are they typically vacant.
What are some other names tax deed auction may be called? You mentioned Sheriff’s Auction, are there any others ?
Mr. Thomas has several videos, he's great at explaining the process to. Seems like they go by a lot of names,
Stike off list and Forfeiture list are a couple other names,
Or just ask them what they do with the properties that don't sell at auction, I think some just roll over to the next auction to. that's the counties that have auctions every month
