I’m 63 yrs young n I’m still dancing 💃🏻 to this music with My husband.. married in October 1983 . We still in love …this music brings out the memories we share together❤🎉❤🎉
Back in the day, things were good. I did it all except, I never hung out at Poe Park. Section 5 Orchard Beach? #12 Bus Check! I had no worries, no bills, no money, my game with the ladies was real simple and obvious. Fortunately, "The Devil's Nest" was a 20 minute walk from my house on Tremont & Webster Ave. Who remembers Information Society? The song "Running" was performed at "The Nest" in the Bx in 1987 and when you google release date it comes up 1988. We were setting trends before major releases. As a 17 year old, I had no money to buy drinks, but I was fortunate to hang out with older guys who would spend enough in drinks for the bouncers to look the other way when I walked in wearing a suit 3 sizes too big. Yes, I was there for Information Society's sold-out show & Yes, I would wear the same ill fitted suit to "The Copa Cabana" (original spot) on 60th st between 5th & Madison. I remember seeing Hanson & Davis at the Copa singing "Hungry For Your Love" with Larry Blackmon from Cameo (WordUp) th-cam.com/video/MZjAantupsA/w-d-xo.html - standing 15 feet from me and my friends. We would also frequent Rose Land, Latin Quarters, The Palladium, the famous 4 corners in the Bx where Riddler's & Peoples were at. My friends and I were regulars at 1018 when Eddie Murphy would role up in a navy blue convertible Rolls Royce. I remember one of my friends getting "India's" number. He's still bringing it up 36 years later. I know I may be over sharing but freestyle music has a unique ability to transport me back to a different time and place, regardless of the quality of the videos themselves. It's not just about the visuals; it's about the memories and emotions that these songs evoke. My 1980s and 1990s, was a vibrant era filled with energy, passion, and a sense of freedom. going by these comments, freestyle music represents more than just a genre; it's a soundtrack to our youth, a reminder of carefree days and unforgettable moments. The nostalgia triggered by this freestyle music video isn't solely about the production value or the aesthetics of the video. It's about the feelings of joy, love, heartache, and excitement that these songs evoke. It's about the memories of dancing with friends at a club, cruising down the street with the windows down, or falling in love for the first time. falling in love the second time & the third time (all in one night) Even if the quality of the videos may seem dated compared to today's standards, the essence of freestyle music remains timeless. Its infectious beats, catchy hooks, and heartfelt lyrics have a way of resonating with people across generations. Thank you very much ChuckRighteous for this gift. This compilation of freestyle music videos isn't just about reliving the past; it's about reconnecting with a part of ourselves that we may have forgotten. It's about celebrating the moments and experiences that have shaped us, and finding comfort and joy in the music that has been with us every step of the way. For all of us who are still here, and those we have lost. Lastly, when I was 23 yrs old, my best friend in the world and 2 others kids died in a drunk driving accident. The oldest person in the car was my friend. May they rest in peace - Whenever I think about him I always windup playing the freestyle song he would love to play in my car th-cam.com/video/qOJbvrNCq4E/w-d-xo.html Peace & love

I feel like i might seen you in the BX by the way you talking I lived around minerva street in the Bronx also I travel to the south of the bronx. I always heard the The Copa Cabana on the radio I wanted to be in that club every Friday (strict parents), But all I did was enjoy around people and stuff(Bombing cars and Trians). Ever since I left the bronx in the 90s, I feel like everything went to hell.
This music never gets old my kids grew up listening to these jams when they were little & I'm blasting in the house or driving around with them... and I still rock to this got a subwoofer installed in my truck recently just for this FREESTYLE FOREVER 💯😎

wow! what a fantastic Freestyle mixes of JAMS from the Good Ole' Days!!! Not to mention the amazing work you did with syncing the videos you used with the audio that was playing!! That is NOT an easy task to do! Freestyle music stands out from other genres because it values improvisation over structure. The lyrics are often written on-the-fly and the beats are constantly changing to keep listeners on their toes. This makes for an exciting musical experience as each song can be different from the last! Freestyle will live on and on for the new generations. Memories !! Jersey Shore and Philly 8th floor , club Egypt
I’m 63 yrs young n I’m still dancing 💃🏻 to this music with My husband.. married in October 1983 . We still in love …this music brings out the memories we share together❤🎉❤🎉
I do.
It's about the memories of dancing with friends at a club, cruising down the street with the windows down, or falling in love for the first time. falling in love the second time & the third time (all in one night)
Even if the quality of the videos may seem dated compared to today's standards, the essence of freestyle music remains timeless.
BX Hints Point. Those were the days 😅
Thank you so much the kind words and great stories!! I’ve never heard that Debbie Harry track! Thanks for putting me on to that. Definitely a vibe!! You really lived that era and I wish I coulda been there with you!! Much love!! ✌🏽
Information Society- "Running" Would be blasting on street everywhere in middle of the night or evening.
This brings back memories growing up in Bushwick and Williamsburg Brooklyn in the 80s and 90s damn I miss those days
Sounds like they were a blast!! Thanks for watching and listening!!! 🙏🏼
Thanks
This music never gets old my kids grew up listening to these jams when they were little & I'm blasting in the house or driving around with them... and I still rock to this got a subwoofer installed in my truck recently just for this FREESTYLE FOREVER 💯😎
Come pick me up next time, there’s nothing better than cruising in a ride that has dope sound!!!
What I would give to go back to the 80's. Best days of my music life..
My favorite freestyle singer is Safire by far. She had many hits.
The Ladies were really running the scene. Everyone always talks about “Who’s the king of freestyle? Stevie B or George Lamond?” I’m like “The ladies were the ones really running things!” Safire… beautiful voice with the exterior to match!
THIS IS REAL MUSIC! WHEN MUSIC WAS MUSIC! YOU HAVE TO BE RAISED IN THE 80's & 90's TO UNDERSTAND! FREESTYLE BABY!!! 💯💯 👈
Agree 👍

Feel bad for this new generation - They've missed out on the entire experience .......everyone should've have been lucky enough to go through the memories of those times ......were real, exciting, energetic, passionate, electric, and non-stop partying - rinse - repeat and remix - only CORO was missing from this line up ... LOVE & RESPECT ✊🏼

What!!! He’s mixing the song with the video from the 80’s and back to the late 90’s when they’re in concert!!! This DJ is the DJ of the year! Man I’m from Chicago and remember all these jams at the Prime & Tender ! This DJ Rocks!!!
@@mikeyoucanfixanything2150 Thank you for watching and listening. I mix videos live at my gigs when I can. I always try to play freestyle videos. The music is very much still alive and requested a lot. People get a kick seeing all these old videos. I’m from the NW Burbs but I can still get down. Thanks for vibing! ✌🏽
wow! what a fantastic Freestyle mixes of JAMS from the Good Ole' Days!!! Thank you for sharing your talent to the world! -djBrandon Michaels, Las Vegas, NV
Thank you for the kind words!!! Honestly it wasn’t that difficult to make. I appreciate you watching and listening! I love this music and it is great to see it live on!

I lived the freestyle music through my relationships. I went through all the different scenarios in the music by the different artists no regret.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think this is why this music resonates with us. We pretty much all can relate to the lyrics. I remember listening to these tracks as a small kid, wishing some girl would do me wrong, so I could finally relate to the pain….
THE MIXES ARE GOOD....I USED TO BE A PROF'L DJ IN HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA
One of the best mixes ever. Smooth transitions, on beat, perfect song choices. Freestyle forever. Bringing back the memories. Thank you sir!
