Another great video, really interesting review might be one of the first trip reports of a domestic flight in PNG, I always appreciate how you take lots of unique flights definitely makes it more interesting!
Looks like some Extradinory scenery to be had flying over and around PNG! Hopefully can develop a sustainable and safer tourism industry one day there!
Just to clarify, the town of Rabaul doesn't exist any more... it was pretty much completely destroyed by the 1994 volcanic eruption. Such a shame - it was one of the most beautiful towns in the Pacific - now it's under three metres of ash. The nearby town of Kokopo has replaced it as provincial capital and business centre. The airport is at Tokua, about a 40 minute drive from Kokopo.
It's expected from an Aussie..the negativity..PNG is the land of the unexpected..feint hearted people shouldn't pick PNG for your reviews..you don't get to know the real PNG until u actually live among the people..many foreigners leave our shores with heartfelt memories promising to return
$350 a night for that! $100 would have been just right. I wonder unless Aussie pilots flying this plane if the PNG pilots have to keep the cockpit window open to spit out betel nut juice!
If you couldn't handle the worry of the flight, you could never handle living in PNG. I previously lived in PNG Highlands for over 3 years and took many dozens of flights on small aircraft in that time.

Wow you have a lot of balls flying domestically in PNG, but it should be really interesting to see the review!
Coming soon!
It’s a very interesting review
Dang! Touched down right at the start of the runway threshold.
It was a very scary landing - hopefully our flight to Auckland is better HAHA

While yes you are correct that Rabaul was destroyed in 1994. However it was rebuilt and is now adjacent to the ruins of the old city
i wonder why they weren't allowing port moresby bound passengers on?
I explained in the vid that this was due to weight restrictions at Rabaul airport
Thats papua newguinea we are used to flight cancellation and delays but we dont worry safety is priority
This wouldn’t stand in australia XD
