That latency though... try racing that parking spot against analog. That variable latency going up to 80 is gonna fuck you up. Also the grass texture, the ground texture showes better on analog, as do the trees where you get much more detail in the branches from medium distance. The way dji encodes makes grass texture more mushy, also the leaves on the trees.
This video tempts me even more than all the others before to go and buy DJI. But for now I will continue flying with analog gear because I don't want to spend 1k and be even more afraid to break a cam. Also, I prefer to wait until I have a choice between different offers for digital FPV goggles.

If you don't mind prop view, you can attach the lens back a little or use a 3D print TPU lens protector.
@@KremerFPV Well it depends. I have skyline o4X googles and I struggle to get at least a decent image. If my analog feed was as good as yours I would not even bother to think about switching to digital but the fact is that it is very difficult (and probably very expensive) to get to have a proper analog signal.

Hi Gal nice video, I would love to try this DJI system out. For someone coming into the hobby and could afford them should get them but I have 13 micros and 3 5in quads and to switch them over to the DJI would be to expensive. Thanks for the video
Lol why would you need to convert all of them to dji, just pick one and have it be the DJI quad and get analog mod for the rest. There's actually no reason to not get the DJI as long as it also does analog. DJI is the obvious choice
Your right, I don't have to change all my quads over. But it is still $150 dollars to get the camera and vtx , I could never afford to change anything, I'm disabled and only make $500 a month, so when I do build it's usually a budget build.
DJI seems more beaufitul image but analog is more usable image, just my opinion.

what does it mean "HDO 2 gopro recording" ?
I recorded one of the screens of the HDO2 using a GoPro camera.
In the 2nd half, outdoor sesh, there's a constant interference on the analog side I haven't seen before. The 4 lines of static are permanently there, with varying levels of visibility, a side effect of the close proximity of the VTx's?
Yes - this is an interference which is caused by the Digital VTX.
The DJI looks great but does anyone know what the SAR lvl of the DJI goggles are?

If you put directional antenna it will reduce radiation on your head. Put for example pico patch on the top(not bottom).

Wow, that DJI looks fantastic! Were you using the DJI controller/receiver? What does rcSignal:0 mean?
Yes ot looks great. I was using my Tango 2 and it shows rcSignal 0 since I wasn't using the DJI controller.
@@KremerFPV Assuming you were using the Tango directly to a crossfire receiver on the quad, how do you like the Tango and crossfire Rx compared to the DJI controller and Rx already in the vista or air unit?

Not unless you buy an analog receiver for it
You need to use a compatible VTX. Currently the only options are the DJI Air Unit and the Caddx Vista.

I would get the Caddx Vista and use it with my Tango 2. I dont want to buy the DJI Radio
It doesn't matter - You can use any receiver with the air unit too.
I was actually flying the Geprc Cinerun with my Tango 2 in this video :-)
@@KremerFPV does the dji controller have better range than say a taranis without crossfire? I'm debating on getting the dji remote in the bundle or not. Not sure it's worth it
@@drewgotit3569 I easily get a mile with my dji transmitter. I rarely go long distance because its boring. I've never failed safe with it at any distance with basically zero latency. I would most definitely get it.
@@drewgotit3569 Don't buy the DJI controller until you read up on it a lot. There are a lot of complaints about how limited the switches are. It's really only useful for the most simple of setups. You're much, much better off with a Jumper T16 Pro and a $69.00 TBS Crossfire Micro plugged into the back.

What is with the modern day FPV community's obsession with weight? On a quad with a 1:7 - 1:9 power to weight ratios an extra 20-30g is meaningless. Especially considering this system is the best thing to happen to FPV since solid state gyros.
What video were you watching? I'd never go back to analogue. Shit looks like the dark ages now.
That's an excuse you keep telling yourself bro, it's 20g heavier than my analog 1200mw vtx w micro eagle n sma lollipop, watch any of my vids, it's all dji goggle dvr superviewed, rediculous range n clarity
I have SKY03O(with RapidFire) and DJI. If you say that, this is because you don't have DJI. I fly every time near to ground in the woods. And the DJI was a beast. The analog was far behind DJI. I also enjoy my analog setup. The air unit wheight is not a problem. If you have a problem there's Caddx vista. And in summer the single 20x20 board for analog camera.
Could I really be first for once?
