I love riding my ebike. Ive built it into a downhill monster that still climbs! Havent taken it to rock creek yet maybe next time! I absolutely feel more stable and planted on the ebike! I can take curves way faster!

Took my Orbea Rise h15 to Jarrod's Place over Christmas. Had such a great day self shuttling. Had an amazing time at Kanuga, Fire MTN and Ride BHM too. Eebs FTW.

My brother back in Wales DH's his all the time. No more uplift costs he just rips up the fire road in less time 😅 Cwm Carn, Forest of Dean and Bike Park Wales. I'm in Northern Colorado and we have chairlifts at the parks and not many places to ebike locally, so I'm still analog, but waiting on my midlife crisis 😂😂
Dark hallow was my first mtb black diamond and I followed my friend who was also riding blind into it. That rock garden was gnarly. GoPro doesn’t do it justice.
5,974 miles on my Decoy. It does it all. Park, chunk, single track. It climbs the impossible and descends so well. Strongly suggest upgrading the brakes to TRP DHR EVO.
I took my dh bike to Rock Creek the 1st time and my eeb the 2nd time. I had much more fun on the eeb. There is a surprising amount of climbing for a downhill park
A heavier bike is kind welcome at times. I borrowed one for Kanuga one day and had to dial my shit back on the first few laps because I was jumping to flat on half the jumps on Tortuga. Reminds me of my DH race bikes from the late 90s and early 2000s.

I really value your content brosef. I almost gave up the sport after breaking my neck (literally) in an unrelated accident. I sold Big Red , my Norco hard tail, a week later. Missed it so much, I did the research and now own a fantastic Norco Bigfoot ( fattie) that plows over anything up here in Ontario Canada. Guys like you, inspire guys like me. I just don't do anything crazy anymore and I'm just fine with that. Hey, at least I'm still riding right! Keep the rubber side down and keep creating content! Happy trails!

I will say the false arguments for E bikes is probably unnecessary for two reasons: Most of us have accepted that you are transitioning to an ebike rider/influencer/YT ambassador so it doesn't need to be constantly defended Secondly your argument is missing the mark , I have never heard anyone say they don't like e bikes because they aren't fun I am against them on mtn bike trails with the exception of downhill parks but I'm sure they are fun. We just don't want motorized bikes on mtn bike trails. Other than that great video keep it up!

I believe people think that’s why I ride them but in all honesty, the extra weight really stabilizes you in the air and makes big jumps easier. It’s like a cheat code for jumping 🤘
My Emtb feels so much more stable on DH runs than my regular mtb. I am getting the Trek Fuel exe to replace the regular mtb. Can always take the battery out and it will be a 36lb bike then.

I like my ebike, but I'd never take it to a park. The reduction in weight of a regular bike is such a huge benifit for the steep chunky trails where you need to pick and change your lines. I'm consistently 10-20 seconds faster on my regular bike on 2 minute long dh trails compared with the ebike
I hate putting my Ibis Ripmo AF on those racks as a short person. Last year at Jarrod's Place I had to ride my ebike and that was a nightmare putting it on the rack.

Looks like it works fine! Gopro really flattens things - I can tell that was gnarlier than what it looks like. Weather held out (albeit barely over 30) and I got to do that charity ride on my eMtb (Giant Trance E+ Pro) and I let the camera roll for the entire 2nd lap. Southeast Missouri - St Joe State Park - about 8.2miles/lap. With the hills and softer ground I would have been pretty dead after 2 but on ebike I went out and did the 3rd lap a lot faster than prior 2. No doubt, and add in the short cranks on most Eebs and they become a nightmare to pedal sans battery! Plus my Rise gives zero warning as to when that last bar of battery is about gone.
