Thanks for this video! Perfect timing and helpful. I am really trying to be a more efficient shopper with my groceries and in the process of learning the whole coupon process :) . Hope you had a great day!
I save your video until the last as I enjoy them the BEST! I have a membership to both Sam's and Costco and this video was very helpful. Thanks a million for making the DoItOnaDime videos... love them.
Great topic. Since our household is only 2, I use my parent's Costco card. For two years in a row bj's offered 3 months free so I have some knowledge of their products also. In both stores they have quinoa, organic large bag for about$10. Highly nutritious grain which is very versatile. From BJs: I love the big bin of organic arugula and or the organic mixed greens with spinach OJ not from concentrate (lg plastic bottle) and 2% cows milk (2 cartons instead of 3) come in smaller quantitie
Also.....BJs carries applegate lunch meats which is what I buy at whole foods, no nitrite/nitrate. I freeze lunch meat till ready to use. I like the bread choices at BJs rye/pumpernickel swirl is great for They come In 2 small loaves which I freeze one. BJs has organic frozen peas. And garbanzos in a can. Cheese; we go for manchego, Very expensive but well worth the $ Thanks again, Elena
I used to go to Aldi's all the time in college, and we do have one in our area, but it's just enough of a drive away to make the savings not worth it. Aldi envy over here! ;)
If you have Aldi's near you, you can get produce much cheaper there. Pineapples are only $1 each and the clementines are super cheap - a couple dollars per bag. Usually when an Aldi's is built, they build them near Super Wal-Marts because they compete with them.
BJ's not only has many of their own coupons but they also take manufacturer coupons!!! They will not take competitor coupons, but manufacturer coupons, the BJs coupon books they send members in the mail, and the in store coupons they have when you walk in are all pretty sweet deals! Costco has the best return policy ever. And 90 days on electronics!!!! Also, do not look away from their fine jewelry...my husband and I got our wedding rings, including engagement rings- platinum and diamonds, all at Costco and guess what? They are certified and appraised for over two thousand dollars more than we paid! No joke!! BJs will take things back with or without receipts too. I don't shop at Sam's Club but appreciate Kathryn's videos as always!!
Great video. We joined BJs about 2 years ago and are still figuring out what's a good deal and what's not so this was very helpful. I agree with the nuts being a better deal. We love to snack on pistachios and get a huge bag for about $13. We've found that the same amount of nuts would be about $20 in the grocery store.
In Massachusetts, I find bread, cereal, and laundry detergent (.06 per load most of the time) to be cheaper at BJ's than other stores, thanks to coupon stacking at the club. For health/beauty items, I make out pretty good at BJ's with the coupons. My time is limited, and I can't get every deal at CVS, Target, Walmart, etc. So this works for our family! Our family are big egg eaters. They last a long time if the fridge. And we freeze bread in our freezer chest. Currently, we pay $1.39 per loaf at the club. Great video, Kathryn! You are tons of fun to watch. I enjoyed watching, and will subscribe to your channel. :)
I am really inspired by your ideas. Thanks for making our day more productive 😊 As we are family of two i dont use this app much but boxed.com wholesale is one i use often for bulk purchases . I love it because its freeshipping , easy checkout, and even no need to unload your car as its door delivery . You Should try it kathryn 😊.thanks😍
I price everything per item. Say you buy a pack of 6 apple sauce for $3 at sams you pay $9 and get 36. .50 each compared to .25 each. The diapers there are waaay cheaper per diaper, even compared to store sales. A membership here in FL is $40 a year, but you get an extra card for a friend, so we split the cost and save a boat load.
The best deal at warehouses is diapers and wipes , if you are not couponing to extreme.. They also have rebates sometimes.. I stack them up.. Even glass storage containers are very good deal.. I bought one set when they had rebate .. Almost you save half on them when on rebate .. Yep electronics too but not much variety ..I bought samsonite suitcase for half the price .. Very good deal again..
Thx for this video! this was really helpful! I've thought about buying more meat at Costco and freezing it recently too! I love your grocery tips; I'm still new to the coupon thing. I never found the East coast equivalent to that southernsaver website that you mentioned. I'm still looking for it.
I'm glad! Having the website does make it so much easier! I actually found out about southernavers by asking someone in our store with coupons how she did it. She was awesome and really helped me out! GL :)
Harris Teeter? You live in NC? I would love to see any couponing tips you have for HT. I tend to go on Saturday to get the free items and the weekend sales. Sams is right up the street from me and I like to buy cereal there. They normally have a huge 2 pack of the cereals my boys like for $4
Thanks for the video! One problem I find with buying wholesale, is storing the extra bulk items. Can you do a video of where you keep all your wholesale buys? Thanks!
Thanks for doing this video I tried the box of stuff in your car video for my daughters toys so much better and the trash can idea love it my car has stayed clean
Hello--Super cheap membership! Sam's Club did not do well in Canada, Costco won. Costco membership is over $100 for an executive membership here in Southern Ontario. Many of the prices are about the same at your store and ours - I was surprised!
i am going to check out toilet paper i need a good deal and produce is something i am trying to eat more of less already made food to eat healthier. i am loving your tips thanks so much.
Thanks, Nikki! Couponing really does start to become a hobby after a while. I really enjoy it :)

Thanks a million for your positivity and comments :) They mean the world to me. xo!
That's interesting that the prices are so similar because I know that Canada and US general grocery stores often differ in cost. Cool.
Aren't the perks great? You are just the sweetest in your videos. :)

I had heard that, although I haven't been to check it out yet. I think I should! :)

You are a wholesale pro! P.S. Machego = awesomeness!!!! Do you buy it in the wheel?

Oops typo- engagement ring. There is only one :) and two wedding bands, his and mine.

Yay! I'm glad it's working for you. :) Have a great rest of the week!
You just reminded me of the Quinoa....thank you! I need to pick that up next week. :)
Kathryn, I love all your content so much! I would really enjoy seeing an updated video on bulk shopping!

hey, i would love to hear your ideas on organizing a classy but still affordable wedding. Any tips?

It's such a trial and error at these types of places, and store banks on that to make their money. The nuts really are the best deal anywhere!!
do you know BJ's takes coupons??
Thanks for doing this video I tried the box of stuff in your car video for my daughters toys so much better and the trash can idea love it my car has stayed clean
Great video. I would suggest to buy bread in bulk also and freeze it. It is way less expensive, especially when feeding lots people. Thank you.

Also, i have four kids do i buy the bulk eggs. We get like seven dozens at a time for way cheaper than the store.
Those stuffed salmon fillets that Sam's has are fantastic!
HI THERE YOU SHOULD DO A COUPON VIDEO LIKE WHERE U GET YOUR COUPONS AND THE CVS STORE SHOW US PLEASE
where do you find all your coupons (for hygiene, etc)?
i am going to check out toilet paper i need a good deal and produce is something i am trying to eat more of less already made food to eat healthier. i am loving your tips thanks so much.
Sam's is one of my all time favorite stores!
You can always freeze your bread. That's what I do.
Michi Desu I do too
Michi Desu same here I buy the two pack bread from sam's and freeze one
You should do a coupon video. I coupon but would love to see how you get things almost free at cvs and stuff like that.
I know. Tho your non membership stores are less expensive, especially the organic produce.
I have been shopping from Sam,s Club & B'J & Costco many time
And I found the Quality control at Costco better. Than any others
скажите пожалуйста чем хорош wallmart от sam's club (please tell me what is good from walmart sam's club)?
My husband and I just got a membership for SAMs club
They do not coupon at my sams.
WE USE COSTCO, OUR MEMBERSHIP PAYS FOR ITS SELF IN THE GAS SAVINGS ALONE. AND MILK $1.69 A GALLON
You probably already know, but just in case you don’t Dollar Tree now accepts manufacturer’s coupons!
Really regretting getting the sams club card, I don’t see the savings tbh
Good video, but eggs and bread are a great deal if you have a large family.
nice ,thanks for sharing have a great weekend
not all the time Jewel/Osco I can always get toothpaste for .50 cents. And recently I got yougurt for free.
Shop with a friend, if something seems like it will take up too much space, split it.
I use to buy Huggies diapers from sam's big box for cheap
Great video. You do such a nice job! Quite an inspiring woman. :-)
