Jiraya earned my respect in his final stand.I always thougth he was just a powerful joke charatcer,but he was a fucking badass.Imagine if he was sitll alive.That would have been great!

this fight is what helped cement Jiraya as a awesome badass for me, especially when you remember that Nagato admits at the end that Jiraya not knowing the secrets of Pain beforehand was the only reason they won

@@titanus261 definitely not he got nothing on Itachi's genjutsu, probably the only known characters that could escape it would be Shisui and maybe Madara. Not to mention Susano'o and Jirayija's reliance on summoning. Even with it he'd have nothing on Itachi if they were ever in a serious fight to the death for some reason. For a few reasons that might be spoilers, you should just know that Itachi's fight with Sasuke is not representative of what he's really capable of.

In the end of the pain fight they should have used this track. It would have been such a good way to honor Jiraya
