I feel like I have quite the collection since we are no longer masked up in public. I need to do a declutter and this is inspiring me to finally do it. I live in MN with brutal winters and I cannot stand dry lips. I'm on a strict lip no buy but it is forcing me to rediscover my favorite formulas. I like that you talk about formulas because it has saved me from purchasing dry or sticky products.
I SWEAR noone wears blue eyeshadow like you!! It always looks amazing, always look forward to your declutter videos because of how insightful they are and tells me what to steer away from
In my opinion brands should ask what you want to have when it comes to collections. For example a collection has like one pallette, 2 blushes and 4 lipsticks. They could ask what of those shade options you want to have. I think this would be more environmentally friendly. And yes, it's an extra work step, but it also prevents companies from sending people stuff who couldn't care less.
Hi Angelica! Yet another great declutter (AND it's over an hour? YaY!! 😍)! I gotta say.. I don't care for a pink lip either, but there are a few pinky/mauve-browns out there that I can actually pull off (especially with a brown leaning lip liner), so I do have a few of those. Personally, I get a kick when a creator is doing a declutter and keeps a shade that is a fave of mine. ND's Noa, Mac's Thanks! It's Mac and the Fenty one are just a few that we have in common 😁 Also, idk if you already know about this (they might also do it in Sweden), but Mac has a program that if you bring back 6 of your empty or decluttered Mac products you can get a free lipstick (not sure if that's the only thing you can get or not). Considering that you're decluttering, it might not be something you want, but maybe you can give it to a friend or family member for xmas or an upcoming bday. Just wanted to let you know! Lastly, since you're my favorite connoisseur of orange lippies, I just wanted to ask... would you ever do a video showcasing and maybe swatching (but not necessarily lip swatching, not trying to see you torture your lips! 😂) all your orange lip products? It'd be cool to see your color range and the differences in formulas. Just an idea, absolutely NO pressure 😊 ETA: Just an afterthought, maybe you could make an orange themed video or series where you show all your orange products? Lips, blushes, favorite orange eyeshadows and maybe peachy highlighters (peach is a kind of pastel orange, right? 🤔)? i don't have very many lipsticks because i have allergic reactions to some ingredients. what has worked for me are: lancome, florasis, clinique, laura geller lip oil, valentino, and korres olive oil lip therapy.

If you want a colour/cruelty free dupe of gucci a royal scandal - kiko smart lipstick in cold brown. It's a cool toned mid tone lipstick with a glossy formula. The glossiness can be toned down if avoid a lip balm or lip mask before putting it on.

I‘m curious: would you declutter more/differently if this wasn’t your job? My method to declutter makeup (especially lip products) is much more „ruthless“ than what you do here, but you also mention things like wanting at least one from each brand to compare etc. which is understandable since this is your job. So my question is essentially are there things you would get rid off if you didn’t see them as „work material“ or are you just the type of person who gains joy from a large collection? (please know that this isn’t meant to be judgemental at all, genuine curiosity)
So when you were talking about the expensive lip gloss that was a reco from Michelle Wong, you said it was called something something nude. I know you love star wars and all I could think of is the spoof episode of family guy where they are doing star wars. And one of emperor Palpatine's lines is "something something darkside". Anyway I don't know if you have ever seen family guy but because you are a star wars lover you should watch that episode it's really funny!
Sell it on Mercari and make you some money back on the makeup 😁 I love shopping Mercari and also I just wish some people would actually stop thinking creators owe them something just because you all do decluttering! I can't stop laughing at how it seems as though you have about 5 shades of lip product and then about 30 of each shade. lol Lip products will always just look the same to me as a non lip person. I mean no judgement, i have the same issue with blush and eyeshadow in my own collection and I don't even use them for my job! Great video :)
Living alone my personal opinion that some of these refillable are "more packaging" than saving it, if they have a colour sticker you could move it to the generic container, so you know which one is it. I do that when I really liked a packaging and I have a battered one. Freeze the 💄lipstick , remove gently with a paper tissue and put it in the better container 🙄
