I would put black on the outside in the living room to give it that break considering the wall is white. It just does something to the room if dark colours are on the outside.The bedroom curtains are spot on because when open they give you that dark effect of curtains on the outside and dark enough when closed to keep the room dark enough kama unaamka late.
