This kind of videos, conversations and your short stories, are the most useful learning tool I've found on youtube. Congratulations, u're great!
Maybe only if u can speak a little slower, but not too slow nor as fast as here..? And after that u can repeat the story as it sounds in normal/usual speed. With both norwegian and english subtitles, of course :)

A few months ago, I started learning Norwegian on Duolingo. Many people say it’s a bad app but after listening to this, I realize the app is actually very good! I just started so I didn’t understand everything you said but I understood simple words like så, barna, ha/har, god, etc. it’s not much but it was enough for me to know how good Duolingo is.

It might not work for some but for quite alot of people (including me and you) it can help so much, I have also been learning Norwegian on Duolingo, and even though it does work, I also watch Norwegian movies and stuff to try and make my learning process more 'complete' you might wanna try it too if you aren't already doing it ahah, I wish you good luck on your journey to learn Norwegian :D

In Norway we have english as an obligatory language to learn in school, just to make sure our society can work :3
In a week, we use regularily 2-4 hours to learn english.
Thats why we norwegian also know english. We also have to choose a language from 8th class, which is usually : French, german, spanis, norwegian for extra specialization and english.

Sorry if this sounded really harsh. It's great that you did it to state an example.

The easiest for you is probably learning Norwegian in the dialect of Bergen town. Your "R" sound is somewhat alike. Check out "Watskeburt". Dutch song, but almost every word is relatable to Norwegian ;)

    1. In Norway we dont only speak Norwegian since many Norwegians now also come from Pakistan, India, Iran...etc.
    2. Many also speak "Ny-Norsk" which is a different language than "bokmål" which most people speak.
    3. Ofcourse we can survive internationally without English. In Italy you can speak italian, in Spain you can Speak Spanish etc ;)

Cool :) The bloopers part too :) But I am afraid it does not help too much that I learned Norwegian since it's too rapid for me to understand, so I could understand only some words. Sure, English helped then, but I would have been happier if I could understand the Norwegian version without help too :) Thanks for the video, anyway! :) And please keep on posting new ones on the Norwegian language & Norway! Thanks!

I could understand, except your English translation, Barn,.. some phrases of beginning, and.. fantastisk... Norwegian sound a bit strange, very different from the sound of another languages.. That's why I decided to learn Norsk. Norge regler!! :)
