On One interview she mentioned that she was nicknamed as "bitch" By her parents and she would be called that at home when her parents would demand her to do something such as a household chore. She mentioned in this video that they would cut grass bare hands but why? Because her parents think it's more fun that way but they don't consider about risking their children having grass cuts/bitten by crawling insects without grass cutter and gloves? Take into consideration that she is adopted and that her parents stopped treating her normally when she hit the age of 7. If that does not make you question their parenting then you don't know how to identify toxic parenting and child neglect/abuse REGARDLESS of the level of abuse.

Guys this part of the clip just shows a glimpse of what her adopted parents did to her. They did way worse than just not letting her shower in the morning, like calling her “bitch” instead of her actual name and hitting her to the point where she couldn’t write in class. There’s obviously more but it was to the point where she felt more FREE in the military.
I'm so glad my Aunt and Uncle don't treat me any different from their own children, I'm basically the baby of the family and I once met someone with the same situation like me (living under other relatives homes) and was so shock on how different they treated her. She's always late for school cause she fed the pigs and chickens, clean their pens and do other chores before going to school. My Aunt and Uncle wouldn't even let me do chores as long as I'm studying or just reading for leisure. My tasks are limited to house chores and I barely go near our farm animals. They treat me so well, they're like real parents to me, they even support my reading addiction lol. It's just so sad not everyone can be lucky to have good people taking care of them.
I know this only talks about one part of her abuse but I give her so much credit and respect for being open about the abuse she endured. She is so young and I’m sure she has young fans in abusive homes, I hope they see that there is hope and they will get out. You aren’t alone ❤

I was placed in relative foster care with my aunt and uncle. They treated me and my twin sister well for a short time. They lived on a farm as well 80 Acres to be exactly. It was my twin and I responsibilities to take care of all the chores in the house and on the land. Given that the fact that we were in elementary school is when it started. We would be allowed to shower once a week and would be Sunday. I lived with them for close to eight years. That was just the surface of the abuse too. I can look back and say I'm both an abused child but I'm also a survivor of it.
They did nothing and you twins did everything? Like what? I mean seriously when would you have time? Maybe it kept you out of trouble. It kept you from getting knocked up as a teenager. Maybe you were on well water and taking a shower everyday would have been a burden to the water source. Now I would not have liked that either, but maybe their ignorance overpowered them. Abuse is having to shower once a week? I think if they ask you to shower 6 times a day might be considered a little abusive but honestly having to shower once a week...abusive? I initially lived on a farm where there was a pump in the kitchen but taking a shower required filling a bucket in the kitchen or the well and hauling it about 30 yards to a wooden stall where you undressed and poured the water into a drain that in turn showered your body. We rarely took showers in the winter and when I was 6 or 7 we got a tub but still had to heat the water first. The outside stall off the back porch was pitch black at night so we only used it during the day. When I got older I showered at the high school in town, Clarksburg, CA. When I was "bad" my mom (who wasn't quite right I discovered) would hold my hand over the open flame of a gas stove and it was my teachers at school told me this wasn't "normal". I'm 65 now and still have the scars on my arms and hands but faded some. I was taken from home, put into foster homes, spent years incarcerated in the Hall and Youth Authority and behavioral modification camps just packed full of horror stories you'd probably considered abuse but to me it was a minor inconvenience. The US army was worse, discharged in 76. I've been married three times, divorced twice and still married 25 years with kids and grandchildren and I love them all. Sometimes things need to be put into perspective and one man's treasure is another man's trash. I didn't know it was considered foster care when its your own family. You should probably be grateful it wasn't a foster home. Kids and foster parents can be quite cruel but I'd still stop short of calling it abuse.

I was homeless off and on from 13-17, when my coach adopted me. I had no idea what I was doing; I definitely slept on peoples’ property though on multiple occasions. Thinking back now, it’s wild that my parents (well, my mother - my father did) didn’t ever get arrested or anything, and I didn’t reach out to like CPS or something. But that’s what happens, I was conditioned into thinking the police or any other authority was worse or more menacing than my parents at the time. The only thing left about it now is in my head though. Like fighting against me, deep in my sub-conscience. Almost like I “identify” (would be the term used nowadays I think) as that homeless poor kid still, which is tough here in med school. And the guilt of seeing my siblings not thrive - actually they fell into the generational cycle that seems to have come upon the family - it eats at me. We’re all making it though, on our own journey. It’s tough, but resiliency gets people out of tough situations. I also joined the military, then got my BS in Chemistry and am in medical school. The only thing missing is the happiness I used to have in middle school or the beginning of high school. Like I’ve been consistently saying “I’ll be happy/proud if I get into college… no… if I graduate… no… if I get into medical school? Not really. Still working on it. Can’t let them keep stealing from me. Anyway, thank you for reading my vent.
Life is about choices. No matter what is your predicament you still have choices ie to thrive or succumbs. You've come this far, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger n wiser. In the Philippines most people would take a bath in the morning, and before going to bed at night. Though normally taking a bath is always in the morning here.
It's hilarious how some kids here treat being a part of farmers family like it's the saddest thing that happens in life. I grew up on a farm doing a lot of manual labour etc and even though now I say F them potatoes I'll rather but than grow mine it was still a great way to grow up and connect with nature. It's still blows my mind some people don't know how food is grown or never saw a duckling in their life.
That's why abusers get away with abuse. So many people support them. It's important to seek help from trained professionals that know you have been abused so that your feelings are validated. That's the only way you can truly heal. 💯
I watched the full podcast and this isn't the full extent of it. Her adoptive father would slap her and her parents would never use her real name so they would just called her "bitch" all the time, so it's safe to say that she was abused
True fact: I was actually adopted myself but my mom would NEVER abuse me, and she never have and never will, I always have these moments when I get mad at her tho. This makes me realize on how lucky I am. 🍀❤ I'm really sorry for Bella and what you had to go through! ❤
The abuse started for me around 4th grade. I was always emotionally neglected, which is a form of abuse, but the antagonistic abuse and scapegoating started later. Before that, I was mostly left alone.
I know how she feels, being abused by my step father didnt feel right. It happened when i was 7 my step father married my mother due to an agreement. He needed papers but he never told her that, mother thought it was love, since my biological father left due to my mother wasnt providing much so he didnt have to work. My step father would tell me to wear clothes that was revealing, and such at a young age. When i was 9, i started my monthlys. Thats when he started molesting me, eventually raping me. I thought that was okay, i didnt tell anyone till one day i missed a whole 2 months. Nurse did a test, and said positive. They brought me to the hospital, and called my mother. They found out that i wasnt pregnant, i had a tumor. But, had truma down there. They suspected my step father, i never saw him ever since he ran and lives out of the country. Mother and i have restraining orders, and he has a warrant for arrest once he comes back to the states. Im now 26. And yes i have Aspergers Autism, my husband loves me for me, protects me from night terrors of my step father. Unfortunately i cannot have children 😕.
Trust me you do not want to feel bad about not being able to have children her world is right now bringing a child into it would be considered cruel and unusual punishment to them. I mean think about it things are only going to get worse so by the time their teenagers are in their twenties if you had a child now imagine how bad the world's going to be and it's going to be because you brought them here so trust me not having a child you're doing that little soul he favor by letting it stay in heaven
Maybe it's just me but as Filipino who grew up in the Philippines, this was normal. Because my parents were not around and my grandparents were the one raising us, my siblings and I helped around the house. We cooked, we cleaned, we helped in the garden, the harvest, we raised farm animals. During summer, I had to fetch water at the bottom of a hill where we lived. We walked three miles to school, three miles back. I'm 32 now so that was over twenty years ago. Our chores were hard but it taught us discipline and perseverance. We were humbled by it. Now that I'm living in the US, I don't resent my grandparents for what my siblings and I had to go through. My grandpa was disabled and as the only male figure in the family, we understood he couldn't do much for us. We lived simply. No power, no running water. So yeah, life is hard sometimes and I understood early that each family member sometimes have to pull their own weight. I was not forced, I helped.
If you listen to her whole story this clip makes more sense as to why she claims to be abused. It’s not about just working on a farm or living in poverty. The farm was just the catalyst that jump started their abusive habits. They were terrible to her.
Sounds like my life too: Everything was good for me up until 6 years old; I had always been fed and housed, I was also the baby of the family. Then at seven my little sister was born, I also was Givin chores to do around the house, and told to eat all my dinner and only take short showers at night😢. I bid my time, knowing that I must make a move to better my situation, but I need to be prepared to leave, I waited and I watched for the right time to get out from under the Thumb of my ruthless parents and at 17 I made my move!

That’s how you know times have changed! Now doing chores is abuse! When I was growing up, it was building character, learning responsibility contributing to the household! Helping take care of your siblings, Clean for and take care of grandparents, Feeding the animals, Making your bed before school, Helping with the dishes, Help prepare meals, Take out the trash, Weeding the garden, Cutting lawns, Delivering newspapers, Help your neighbors ect… Was a normal childhood for me! It is crazy what some people call abuse. When is it going to stop?
If you watched the actual interview, you’d know that she was actually abused. Her dad used to beat her, made her sleep in the chicken coop during winter, and used to call her st**id b**ch instead of her actual name
I'm filipino, and I guess I was abused too. My parents made me wax and buff the hardwood floor when I was 8 and sometimes cook rice for dinner and pick-up dog poop. They made me clear the dining table after we ate and sweep the kitchen floor.

I had to mow my grass, that doesn’t mean that I was abused. I also had to wash the dishes, clean my room, take out the trash feed the cats, that’s called chores, not abuse.
@MikeHoncho1975. You misunderstood...the grass was TALLER than her and they had to do it by hand at age 7. Not a mower. They cleaned up pooped and were not allowed to shower before going to school. That is abusive. Child labor.
If you live in the country with animals there is always work to do and, yes, a lot of it is messy and hard work. That isn't abuse, it is work that has to be done. What a nightmare to have a kid who grows up claiming to have been abused because they had to help out with the chores.

There was no real love in her Foster home. I heard her entire story! And you don’t treat your adopted children like slaves! That’s why she left to go to the Military! She felt much happier. my family of 4 lived in a small 1 bhk apartment . school for me & my sis would start at 7 & our bus would come to pick us up at 6.20. so if each one of us in the family showered before work / school it wouod mean at least 1 hour collectively. so to avoid geting late for work / school my dad was the only one who chose to shower before work while the rest of us chose not to purely due to time constraints & living in a 1 bathroom home.
😭 This made me cry. We don't wanna be statistics so we try to get through it. I was 6 when my abuse started by my stepdad, my mother did nothing to protect me. I've never had help and I'm a mother of 4.the only way ik how to was don't do the things that were done to me. Treat others with kindness, empathy and support. Don't judge us because we seem ok. We get days when we can't do anything because our memory will cripple us. I don't drink, go out, get hair or nails done..... Nothing. I've never done drugs, always kept a roof over mine and my kids heads. I mat not be perfect but I've broke the abuse that's generational in my family. They're all horrible, I'm the odd one and there's over 150 of my family both sides. I have psychosis and psychotic depression. My health has got really bad over the years. The effect trauma has on us throughout like, without knowing is insidious and dangerous.
Normally filipina shower 2 times a day, before go to bed and morning before start the day. I think she just culture shocked in her younger age but base on her story she is more emotionally abused.

When I was around 10 or so my older brother went to live with our mom. I was left behind with an even older step brother that would beat me up, and over time I became the primary person responsible for cleaning the house. And when I say cleaning, I’m talking about scrubbing toilets with a toothbrushes and white glove tests, etc.
When you get older you are given chores to do As you get older your parents age How you grow up and mature Is what moulds you into the beautiful person that you are Many cultures children have chores as a soon as they walk Be proud of what you have become
Cutting grass by hand is painful. I do my edges with scissors and i always get blisters after doing it. On little 7yr old hands that would be torture to do a garden of long grass by hand! Remember, this is just a short.... it isnt going into everything she went through.

Everything she's describing here has nothing to do with abuse. I never showered in the morning as a child . You should shower before bedtime to wash your day off of you. You wake up clean to start your new day. Having some duties around the farm and helping is fine too. I did it as a kid and it helped me to be more appreciative person. No, YOU know NOTHING abt abuse. Forcing a child to do ALL the manual labor at a FARM is very much illegal because that’s child labour and considered abusive in many standards. Also theres a DIFFERENCE with your story and hers. The attitude is different in your environment. Because you had a family that helped you and still gave you love even when you had to help out do work, but Bella didn’t. She was not appreciated, loved, nor cared for by her own adoptive parents. She was not taught to work as a family bit on her OWN, she was FORCED at a young age to do EVERYTHING at the farm. Its sad how you try to justify abuse by saying its just a normal thing but its not. Abuse doesn’t just come from hitting a fucking kid. It can be where you FORCE them to work when they’re extremely exhausted or fucking hitting a wall until your kid gets panic attacks every time a wall is hit. Abuse varies and FORCED CHILD LABOR is ABUSE and can be seen as another form of Modern Slavery… You may be a parent or someone that grew up in a poor environment where at a you g age you had to help out financially, but what you NOT is a child psychologist so dont act like one. Your ignorance is the sane type of ignorance which caused mental health and domestic abuse to not be as known back then, forcing those to endure, seek medicine outside of the country, or kill themselves.

I'm far from privileged. I grew up on a big farm with 9 siblings. We ALL had to do work like that at a young age as well. Its teaches ,self discipline, perseverance, good work habit. Young people these days are too damn soft n they don't know what work is. And no, I'm not amish

You need tonkisten to the whole onterview. This clip messes up the whole point of the interview. She was made to do farm chores in the morning before school and then weren't allowed to clean up, starting at 7. Its not just chores when you have small chikdren doing manual labor for 6+ hrs a day, plus school, withholding showers, food, clothes, etc. Beating her, calling her "bitch" instead of ever using her name, witholding rhe ability to sleep until chores were dont so they were up until 3am and back up at 6am. All while the other 2 bio children didnt have to do anything.

Your parents starve you if you don’t clean poop well enough? They keep you from taking showers? I get growing up on a farm and doing yard work (which I don’t agree you should put 9 year through TOO much because it affects their development), but the amount of rules, additional abuse and lack of support can’t be good for anybody. If this happens to you, I can only hope that you have a peaceful life and work through those things because even though life is hard, this isn’t something a child should be going through.
This is just a clip - a short snippet - she suffered physical abuse and wasn’t allowed to sit on the sofa with her adopted family and had to sit on the floor like a dog - she also was given scraps. That is abuse - I’m so sorry you think it wasn’t abuse what happened to you .
Tbh Same here I lived with two alcoholic while my mom was still young and getting high I was stuck there getting yelled at hearing them to beat each other in there I would try to stop em and get in the middle of them but one time my grandma was beating my grandpa with a brick and I got in the middle of it and got smacked with the brick and then they started kicking me because I got in the middle of it I had to cook my own food they didn’t cook my food I did it would be lil heat up meals I only new how to make and like noodles around 9 or ten my mom started coming back around on a common basis but by then I was not a kid I was a like full teen that has watched people beat each other in hope they kill each other and I used to beat them to and tell them how much I wanted to kill them but now there dead and no one can heal that hole but them I’m not a normal boy my eyes will always look empty I’ve realized after watching my grandma drop dead because of a heart attack I got the 1000 yard stare I’m calm in situations like if there’s a murder that I witnessed I would probably laugh it off and be just fine but tbh lately I’ve realized even if I can feel anything over time it’s eating me up on the inside without me even noticing it’s eating my whole soul to nothing but a black sheep in a white sheep’s farm
Things were different before (I'm gen x). Parents were more strict. I had a very strict grandfather and we would also have to do farm chores as well with manual tools and there were also snakes and other wild animals in the bean and corn fields. I personally hated it it was horrible especially working under the sun but as I said back then it was considered normal for kids to help out. My siblings and cousins and I tried to just have fun while working hard.

I'm so glad my Aunt and Uncle don't treat me any different from their own children, I'm basically the baby of the family and I once met someone with the same situation like me (living under other relatives homes) and was so shock on how different they treated her. She's always late for school cause she fed the pigs and chickens, clean their pens and do other chores before going to school. My Aunt and Uncle wouldn't even let me do chores as long as I'm studying or just reading for leisure. My tasks are limited to house chores and I barely go near our farm animals. They treat me so well, they're like real parents to me, they even support my reading addiction lol. It's just so sad not everyone can be lucky to have good people taking care of them.
I know this only talks about one part of her abuse but I give her so much credit and respect for being open about the abuse she endured. She is so young and I’m sure she has young fans in abusive homes, I hope they see that there is hope and they will get out. You aren’t alone ❤

I was placed in relative foster care with my aunt and uncle. They treated me and my twin sister well for a short time. They lived on a farm as well 80 Acres to be exactly. It was my twin and I responsibilities to take care of all the chores in the house and on the land. Given that the fact that we were in elementary school is when it started. We would be allowed to shower once a week and would be Sunday. I lived with them for close to eight years. That was just the surface of the abuse too. I can look back and say I'm both an abused child but I'm also a survivor of it.

Abuse is having to shower once a week? I think if they ask you to shower 6 times a day might be considered a little abusive but honestly having to shower once a week...abusive? I initially lived on a farm where there was a pump in the kitchen but taking a shower required filling a bucket in the kitchen or the well and hauling it about 30 yards to a wooden stall where you undressed and poured the water into a drain that in turn showered your body. We rarely took showers in the winter and when I was 6 or 7 we got a tub but still had to heat the water first. The outside stall off the back porch was pitch black at night so we only used it during the day. When I got older I showered at the high school in town, Clarksburg, CA. When I was "bad" my mom (who wasn't quite right I discovered) would hold my hand over the open flame of a gas stove and it was my teachers at school told me this wasn't "normal". I'm 65 now and still have the scars on my arms and hands but faded some. I was taken from home, put into foster homes, spent years incarcerated in the Hall and Youth Authority and behavioral modification camps just packed full of horror stories you'd probably considered abuse but to me it was a minor inconvenience. The US army was worse, discharged in 76. I've been married three times, divorced twice and still married 25 years with kids and grandchildren and I love them all. Sometimes things need to be put into perspective and one man's treasure is another man's trash.
I didn't know it was considered foster care when its your own family. You should probably be grateful it wasn't a foster home. Kids and foster parents can be quite cruel but I'd still stop short of calling it abuse.

I was homeless off and on from 13-17, when my coach adopted me. I had no idea what I was doing; I definitely slept on peoples’ property though on multiple occasions. Thinking back now, it’s wild that my parents (well, my mother - my father did) didn’t ever get arrested or anything, and I didn’t reach out to like CPS or something. But that’s what happens, I was conditioned into thinking the police or any other authority was worse or more menacing than my parents at the time. The only thing left about it now is in my head though. Like fighting against me, deep in my sub-conscience. Almost like I “identify” (would be the term used nowadays I think) as that homeless poor kid still, which is tough here in med school. And the guilt of seeing my siblings not thrive - actually they fell into the generational cycle that seems to have come upon the family - it eats at me. We’re all making it though, on our own journey. It’s tough, but resiliency gets people out of tough situations. I also joined the military, then got my BS in Chemistry and am in medical school. The only thing missing is the happiness I used to have in middle school or the beginning of high school. Like I’ve been consistently saying “I’ll be happy/proud if I get into college… no… if I graduate… no… if I get into medical school? Not really. Still working on it. Can’t let them keep stealing from me. Anyway, thank you for reading my vent.

The abuse started for me around 4th grade. I was always emotionally neglected, which is a form of abuse, but the antagonistic abuse and scapegoating started later. Before that, I was mostly left alone.

I know how she feels, being abused by my step father didnt feel right.
It happened when i was 7 my step father married my mother due to an agreement.
He needed papers but he never told her that, mother thought it was love, since my biological father left due to my mother wasnt providing much so he didnt have to work. My step father would tell me to wear clothes that was revealing, and such at a young age. When i was 9, i started my monthlys. Thats when he started molesting me, eventually raping me.
I thought that was okay, i didnt tell anyone till one day i missed a whole 2 months. Nurse did a test, and said positive. They brought me to the hospital, and called my mother. They found out that i wasnt pregnant, i had a tumor. But, had truma down there. They suspected my step father, i never saw him ever since he ran and lives out of the country. Mother and i have restraining orders, and he has a warrant for arrest once he comes back to the states.
Im now 26. And yes i have Aspergers Autism, my husband loves me for me, protects me from night terrors of my step father. Unfortunately i cannot have children 😕.
Trust me you do not want to feel bad about not being able to have children her world is right now bringing a child into it would be considered cruel and unusual punishment to them. I mean think about it things are only going to get worse so by the time their teenagers are in their twenties if you had a child now imagine how bad the world's going to be and it's going to be because you brought them here so trust me not having a child you're doing that little soul he favor by letting it stay in heaven

Maybe it's just me but as Filipino who grew up in the Philippines, this was normal. Because my parents were not around and my grandparents were the one raising us, my siblings and I helped around the house. We cooked, we cleaned, we helped in the garden, the harvest, we raised farm animals. During summer, I had to fetch water at the bottom of a hill where we lived. We walked three miles to school, three miles back. I'm 32 now so that was over twenty years ago. Our chores were hard but it taught us discipline and perseverance. We were humbled by it. Now that I'm living in the US, I don't resent my grandparents for what my siblings and I had to go through. My grandpa was disabled and as the only male figure in the family, we understood he couldn't do much for us. We lived simply. No power, no running water. So yeah, life is hard sometimes and I understood early that each family member sometimes have to pull their own weight. I was not forced, I helped.

I'm filipino, and I guess I was abused too. My parents made me wax and buff the hardwood floor when I was 8 and sometimes cook rice for dinner and pick-up dog poop. They made me clear the dining table after we ate and sweep the kitchen floor.

If you live in the country with animals there is always work to do and, yes, a lot of it is messy and hard work. That isn't abuse, it is work that has to be done. What a nightmare to have a kid who grows up claiming to have been abused because they had to help out with the chores.

my family of 4 lived in a small 1 bhk apartment . school for me & my sis would start at 7 & our bus would come to pick us up at 6.20. so if each one of us in the family showered before work / school it wouod mean at least 1 hour collectively. so to avoid geting late for work / school my dad was the only one who chose to shower before work while the rest of us chose not to purely due to time constraints & living in a 1 bathroom home.

I've never had help and I'm a mother of 4.the only way ik how to was don't do the things that were done to me. Treat others with kindness, empathy and support. Don't judge us because we seem ok. We get days when we can't do anything because our memory will cripple us. I don't drink, go out, get hair or nails done..... Nothing. I've never done drugs, always kept a roof over mine and my kids heads. I mat not be perfect but I've broke the abuse that's generational in my family. They're all horrible, I'm the odd one and there's over 150 of my family both sides. I have psychosis and psychotic depression. My health has got really bad over the years. The effect trauma has on us throughout like, without knowing is insidious and dangerous.

When I was around 10 or so my older brother went to live with our mom. I was left behind with an even older step brother that would beat me up, and over time I became the primary person responsible for cleaning the house. And when I say cleaning, I’m talking about scrubbing toilets with a toothbrushes and white glove tests, etc.
When you get older you are given chores to do
As you get older your parents age
How you grow up and mature
Is what moulds you into the beautiful person that you are

Cutting grass by hand is painful. I do my edges with scissors and i always get blisters after doing it. On little 7yr old hands that would be torture to do a garden of long grass by hand!

Forcing a child to do ALL the manual labor at a FARM is very much illegal because that’s child labour and considered abusive in many standards.
Also theres a DIFFERENCE with your story and hers. The attitude is different in your environment. Because you had a family that helped you and still gave you love even when you had to help out do work, but Bella didn’t. She was not appreciated, loved, nor cared for by her own adoptive parents. She was not taught to work as a family bit on her OWN, she was FORCED at a young age to do EVERYTHING at the farm.

She was made to do farm chores in the morning before school and then weren't allowed to clean up, starting at 7. Its not just chores when you have small chikdren doing manual labor for 6+ hrs a day, plus school, withholding showers, food, clothes, etc. Beating her, calling her "bitch" instead of ever using her name, witholding rhe ability to sleep until chores were dont so they were up until 3am and back up at 6am. All while the other 2 bio children didnt have to do anything.

I get growing up on a farm and doing yard work (which I don’t agree you should put 9 year through TOO much because it affects their development), but the amount of rules, additional abuse and lack of support can’t be good for anybody. This is just a clip - a short snippet - she suffered physical abuse and wasn’t allowed to sit on the sofa with her adopted family and had to sit on the floor like a dog - she also was given scraps. That is abuse - I’m so sorry you think it wasn’t abuse what happened to you .

Tbh Same here I lived with two alcoholic while my mom was still young and getting high I was stuck there getting yelled at hearing them to beat each other in there I would try to stop em and get in the middle of them but one time my grandma was beating my grandpa with a brick and I got in the middle of it and got smacked with the brick and then they started kicking me because I got in the middle of it I had to cook my own food they didn’t cook my food I did it would be lil heat up meals I only new how to make and like noodles around 9 or ten my mom started coming back around on a common basis but by then I was not a kid I was a like full teen that has watched people beat each other in hope they kill each other and I used to beat them to and tell them how much I wanted to kill them but now there dead and no one can heal that hole but them I’m not a normal boy my eyes will always look empty I’ve realized after watching my grandma drop dead because of a heart attack I got the 1000 yard stare I’m calm in situations like if there’s a murder that I witnessed I would probably laugh it off and be just fine but tbh lately I’ve realized even if I can feel anything over time it’s eating me up on the inside without me even noticing it’s eating my whole soul to nothing but a black sheep in a white sheep’s farm
Things were different before (I'm gen x). Parents were more strict. I had a very strict grandfather and we would also have to do farm chores as well with manual tools and there were also snakes and other wild animals in the bean and corn fields. I personally hated it it was horrible especially working under the sun but as I said back then it was considered normal for kids to help out. My siblings and cousins and I tried to just have fun while working hard.
