The take off was so quiet that you couldn’t even tell when the engines had spooled up. Amazing…and the touch down was excellently done…ultra smooth.
Yep. The a380 honestly defies how it looks and the landing… they were definitely experienced (we were quite lucky that winds were rather mild). But the 380 is one difficult plane to land so a great effort
About to take this flight next month! Super excited. I hope I get to fly in the upper deck.
A380s are probably one of the best out there. Hoping to get more flights on them! I’d recommend getting a seat bought on the upper deck ASAP as the cabins are smaller, better configuration, meaning more will get it booked :)

Greetings from London 🇬🇧! I am also 6ft and the leg space was honestly great. Just one tip, try placing your bag in the overhead lockers to ensure maximum space.

I flew the A380 FIRST class over to Washington and back. Had a nice stroll to the back then up and back down to F class. A nice plane but still feel the F should be on the upper deck.
I think the main reason might be that the First cabin can utilise that extra bit of space. The upper deck’s fuselage is actually smaller than the main deck and obviously when it comes to first class, you want to utilise as much space as you want. You probably also get great views of the engines so I wouldn’t complain ;)

I will be trying on an A380 when I go from San Francisco to London Heathrow what is the best seat
I definitely think it’s worth getting a seat in the upper deck as it’s a smaller cabin, less noisy and definitely more comfortable than having a seat in a 3-4-3 cabin. But I’m not sure what the price is as I transferred from an American flight to British
I thinking of 75 K which is £79
If you are travelling alone I’d definitely take that ASAP because the last thing you’d want is for the upper deck to be taken :)
hi is British airways strict with bags that are few kg over 23kg. How was the customer serivice. '
If you’re flying out from Heathrow, it’s strict if you use the self check in. But if you’re flying out from anywhere other than LHR chances are they might be lenient but that’s all on luck

Never! It’s always been 23kg at Heathrow. Anything over 23 is a charge so I’d try and stick to the limit or less
