This is going to sound weird but these 00's era songs from A&B, Oceanlab, and the Anjunabeats compilations really make me feel closer to the natural world. I'm a bit of an astronomy nerd and I associate these songs (especially Anjunabeats Vol 7) with science and astronomy. Setting up the telescope, watching the sun set and waiting for the stars to come out while listening to A&B is such a great experience. This song "Home" is a fantastic song that really takes me to another place.
Same to me mate. I feel exactly the same way you do. I am a barman on Ibiza and when work is finished, the first thing i do is put on my favorite trance tunes and watch the sunset on the beach. It really makes you think about life more deeply. Pure enlightenment.

This song has special meaning for me. It helped me rise up from having suicidal thoughs when I was in very bad situation without much hope for it getting better. Many years later I can say there were hope, but I could not see it at that moment. Life is being harsh, but I am sure I have found my own Home. :> Thank you for creating this masterpiece!

Damn! Heard this back in 2009 at that time I've just discovered A&B. I remember I was mind blown by the maturity and the beauty of all their tracks. Every single piece was very well thought of in terms of its bass, melodies, vocals and progression. They've truly showed to the world how electronic music can achieve such a classy high level! Unfortunately, most of todays pop electronic music is disturbing. This is spiritual and therapeutic!

You just have to know where to look to find tasteful electronic music. Check out "Levitated radio with Manuel Rocca" here on youtube. I found this very song as a result of listening to his very first set.

Cameron Bosch Yeah, they're balls deep in the quasi-EDM scene now. They sort of have a foot in both the EDM and 'traditional' camps but they've alienated those that prefer more organic-sounding music and a bit of tempo. Sub-labels have happened (Lane 8, Dusky and Seven Lions all have their own now) but it's very unlikely there will be one for uplifting/138 or whatever. Beats is getting ever-deeper these days anyway. Once A&B release a progressive house track the whole label will follow. I think this will happen in due course.

I don't understand A&B, I LOVE them and always will, I like alot of their new music but some is prettty shit as well. I don't understand them though because they change their style but yet on pretty much EVERY SINGLE video, so many people simply want old A&B back and their old style and the music they promoted then and fair enough. TATW was perfect, A&B's old style was perfect, the music they promoted was perfect and a great mix of EDM/Deep/Melodic.. I will never understand. Ah well, least they still make/promote good stuff

I miss A&B playing trance, first time I saw them at GodsKitchen in 2005 was the best. Although I've seen good sets by them recently they seemed to have sold themselves to the mass market making big room house :(

+nlomas - They still play trance, but they are now into more progressive trance (Ex. Omnia, Andrew Bayer, Arty, BT, Super8 & Tab) than the traditional trance we used to hear back in the early 2000's
I was there at Godskitchen too..so into the music time had no meaning.
