“Kikyō no Yume” (帰郷の夢, Homecoming Dreams), Shinobue Flute, composed by Shinko Suzuki

This work is themed on accepting and overcoming a sense of loss. Originally, it was given a completely different title. I titled this piece "Kikyō no Yume" (Homecoming Dreams) because a listener gave me his impression that it felt like returning home after the war when I first performed this work at a concert given by Mr. Karino's students in Utsunomiya.
