Hi, the base building is created with a curtain wall and cut underneath the roof. I got a play list of tutorials about curtain walls here: th-cam.com/play/PLsQgMwRhSl6_ObrRNRKEMEMOFMtz6UMOI.html
im minute 20 or so: "sometimes ArchiCAD can be so annoying"...as far as I'm concerned, that might be true. In this case however, the "inner Shell" isn't a shell anymore, because you transformed it to a morph...
Yes it is not always easy but that is with every Software the case I guess but it is annoying me :) True the inner band is not a shell anymore BUT I started with one ! Also as you can see it is easier this way then if you would do the inner band from the beginning with a morph especially with the holes I cut out. Saying this there are always more then one way to get to the end result.
@@ASMTechbase i gotta be honest with you, as soon as you can find an explanation for a problem people will say ''you just have to get better at the software'', even though it is perfectly reasonable to say that archicad is just annoying. it makes no sense sometimes but yeah, We're unfortunately not living in the future.
@@ProjectSkrillexNL Yes the perfect Software is never gonna happen, no matter which Software you use. I think we have to remember that Archicad is still a CAD system. What I mean with this is, using Rhino as example to model something, of course is better as it is a dedicated modeler. In a CAD system the programmers ALWAYS have to consider how it will work with actual Architectural plans like sections, elevations, floorplans, costing, BIM, etc. If you look at it from this perspective, Archicad is an amazing of a Software and the programmers doing an incredible job to keep bugs to a minimum.
Using archicad for 4 years and always learning new tips from you thanks man
