    Great review of every spec, but I was expecting more of your experience in real life with the backpack. Because sometimes a pocket might look cool but don't know if usable in EDC.
    Cheers.

    Love the concept of modularity in bags, and they've got some pretty neat ideas here, but there's just so much going on that I just couldn't see myself enjoying the bag to its potential. When the cube's inside the bag there's barely any room left over, and attached to the side it juts out and really detracts from the otherwise decent aesthetic. Always good to have options though.

    I have this in black, the idea of modular backpack is great, BUT, the water bottle side hinders the secret compartment, once you put the water bottle or tripod, the secret compartment is basically compressed makes it harder to take out whatever items you have in there. Same as the side camera pouch clipped on the side, its great, but the water bottle holder becomes useless. I travelled with this backpack usually with the camera pouch outside and clothes half full only inside the main backpack for a weekend trip. Basically i don’t have much space for water bottle unless i put inside the main compartment space

      Hey Leo! Thanks for sharing your experience with us, it sounds like you've really put this pack to the test and it's interesting to hear how the different compartments have worked for you. 🙌👍

      Pack Hacker Quick Hits there are some compartments that i don’t use for everyday carry. This backpack is quite heavy to carry on 1 shoulder even when empty but it is comfortable when you use both straps

    There are a ton of comments about the “waste of space” under the verge case (camera cube) when it’s in the bag. As an EDC, I generally have a waterproof of light sweater here. So not a total waste. When I’m traveling, I’ve been packing a medium packing cube under here with my clothes. This works super well to fill out the bottom of the bag. A little awkward than some other bags I have, but it works. Interesting to see if a v3 ever comes out.

    Too bad a lot of people on Reddit are complaining about their customer service and operations. Otherwise a nice bag.

      In use it's not been that great for me either. The magnets and zips are lovely, the individual pockets are all nice, but together they make a competing mess fighting over the same space. And somehow the bottom of the bag always ends up being wasted space. I guess it works best if you have a jumper or something you *need* to carry. Anything not stuffable just invariably leaves a void there.

    Is this 3.0? I recall this bag being a bit old, but getting a bit QoL after its kickstart.

    Can you please tell me what kind of material is used for the bottom part? Is it hypalon? My late father bought this backpack and I want to use it now. However, it hasn't been used for almost 3 years now and the bottom part has started to crack and shred. I am looking for a way to fix it. Can I use the paint and compound for synthetic leather? Hope you read this. Thanks in advance.

    Around the 4:55 mark, I see you can kind of put your fingers behind the back panel. Does the back panel allow this bag to be slid over the handle of a luggage handle so when at the airport you can take it off and just pull your luggage with the backpack hooked on?

    • @PackHacker2
      @PackHacker2  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Wesley, it sure does, there is a luggage pass-through behind the back panel. You can see a closeup of the back panel in our full written review here: packhacker.com/travel-gear/boundary-supply/prima-system-modular-travel-backpack/

    Is it big enough for 1 medium Peak design pecking cube and one small?

    • @PackHacker2
      @PackHacker2  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey S J! It's possible to fit one Medium Peak Design Packing Cube and one Small Peak Design Packing Cube inside this pack. Check out the images in our full review to see how they fit. packhacker.com/travel-gear/boundary-supply/prima-system-modular-travel-backpack/ 😊

    Feels a bit like its improvised :b like to see a v 3.0 of this bag with a way to use the void space beneath the camera-bag, sternumstraps on rails, a little pocket on shoulder and hip-belt and stowable hip-belt. Mayber even a zipper pocket on the side flap and 2-3 liter more:)

    Website says specifically that the Fieldspace is designed for up to a 13" laptop or tablet. Not sure I'd waste something like that on papers...

    In the main review to you say that the whole system weighs 3 pounds empty, but on their website it's listed as 3 Pounds 12 Ounces/1.70kgs for just the "Prima" (there are separate weights for the fielsdpace and verge pouches, at 8oz and 12.28oz respectively). Even assuming that the weight of both pouches is already included in the 3 pounds 12 ounces (which doesn't seem likely given the weight used in magnets alone haha), it's a fair disparity. Just wondering if you weighed it, or were just going on some numbers they provided (and potentially later changed/updated)?

      Hey Jed! Thanks for the heads up, we've just updated the weight on the full written review. packhacker.com/travel-gear/boundary-supply/prima-system-modular-travel-backpack/ 😊

    This backpack was a joke. Way too heavy, not confortable. Most of all the quality was terrible.
